The racing doesn't start for another week or two so if we got more drivers then we could throw you in the pool and draft again...but I'm not the boss so what do I know ;)

Yeah title says sign ups open, pretty sure we'll get some more people joining.

Standards are not allowed, correct?
Someone suggested cars to me, but they were all standards, which I think I saw were not allowed.

I think concepts arent allowed though.

Oh, my mistake.
Good to know...

Any rules on mileage, etc?
I know there's not in the OP, I just want to raise the question before I pick a car only to hear nobody thought of using a high mileage car. (If I even do)

Haha...just pick a damn car ;) Mileage has nothing to do with it.

Now I'm worried you'll pick my car ;)

Just remember you can't detune the engine past 98%. That's the big deal breaker on picking certain cars.

Standards are allowed. Mileage doesn't matter. And yes, I'll update the first couple of posts when I get a chance.

97% in the OP
Mileage is the only way to make some cars eligible. I'm going to start testing now.

Praiano named a high mileage car after me . What was he trying to say?

Of all the cars in the game the only one you want won't meet the rules unless it's high mileage?

How peculiar :)

It the same thing as the guys that are creating high mileage 2J's for low pp TTs. It serves a purpose.

I just took the poll....left the thread for a couple days and it turned upside down with tracks and colors and draft order...what do you think this is... the regular S.N.A.I.L club thread?

Also, Im looking forward this time to being not in control of my car selection.

PS: Any chance we let Mopar and I be picked as a tandem? :(

If we get two more drivers, then we can have five teams of four drivers. Which means we run two lounges, each team putting two drivers into each lounge.

If we get one more tuner, then we can have six teams of three drivers. This, too, would put us in two lounges, one lounge have two drivers from each team, the other lounge have one driver from each team. This isn't as exciting an idea, I admit.

We could mix it up a bit, Vol....say the lounge with one from each team has to run a pre-1990 car or something. However, that would mean the tuners would have to sort out two cars which they might not like I guess :indiff:

The two lounges will have separate classes. The thing that would be less exciting would be one lounge would only have six drivers.

And by the way...

I feel that the set up for this season has gotten away from me. I'm going to start organizing STaTS III before STaTS II finishes. Probably starting by week two of STaTS II.

Very sorry.

how did hillracing get slotted in Esh's place? :odd:

@Spooble- I burned the remaining hat cakes. If you've still got one consider it invaluable and NEVER let it go!
Even while driving...ever. Folding it into a triangle for storage is acceptable, but often messy.

possible double post, but how did hillracing get slotted in Esh's place? :odd:

Esh had to bow out and Jahgee had an opening. Hill is his first draft pick.

Also, Bronco has been drafted, too. Just waiting on draft picks from the next tuner.

And yes, double-post from me...

I shouldn't have done those two drafts. It is entirely possible that we could get more drivers, and they may even be better. I was not expecting the late interest that we are getting. So... I should go un-do those in fairness.

so I haven't been drafted and mopar hasn't been drafted...whichever tuner has the picks at the snake from rd 1 to 2 could benefit from picking us together... just a thought. Do what you want obviously....but you know think about it.

And Mopar is a fantastic driver, but he does need to work on his network issues.

Sign me there as a driver please! :D
this is a very original idea
