What cars to run next season

anyone else having problems getting GT5 to work after the update. It's loading really slow for me. Trying to figure out what to do to fix it. Any ideas?

Have you tried the system restore option in the safe mode menu? I did it about a week ago and noticed an improvement in my ps3 load times. There is also a system update if your ps3 isnt set to download them automatically... I had missed that until the weekend.
 
I'm panicing here. It just won't work. I'm trying to delete and reload but don't know if that will work and if so if it will work in time. If I don't make it Dabneyd will you run the night and keep score? I'm going to be so bummed if I miss this race.

Where's the safe mode menu?
 
The update said they'd fix tire wear issues for certain cars. Perhaps that allows the FF's to keep their fronts better now? I know the Integra was always quick in the straights.
 
well now it's redownloading the update and some big update or something. It's like 608 MB. Looks like I'm missing tonight. So pissed. Anyways the spreadsheet is on page 1 and can be edited by anyone. I've got most of the data inputted so you just have to make sure the car is right for everyone and starting weight for the night. If Dabney can do it that would probably be best. Good luck to all. Let me know how it went and if we need to change anything for next week. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

If everyone is fine with that that works for me. I think I'm going to have to reformat the whole thing and reload everything. It won't do anything.
 
I'll run it past everyone and see what they say.

EDIT: going to run tonight hill, guess this'll be your drop night :(

Number 9 for me and ? For Iroqois running Silvia with British Racing Green colours ....

Tonight we will be racing 'un tuned cars' ... I think ice will be our tuner (ice please confirm).

I was able to get down to 1:40s without any suspension tuning.
We shall be better prepared for next week.

Wolf, I will have the Silvia base tune for next race at Autumn Ring/Reverse ready by tomorrow. Looks like you guys had a blast at today race 👍 :D

I agree, each car had a different advantage but the laps were very even... Nice work hill!

Though I do wish to file an official complaint about the heavy damage... If thats the setup, then I will run with it but getting knocked out of the race is not fun. 👎

I didn't even realize that was in the rules. I pretty much copied and pasted most of that from last season. I'll put that up for a vote. Please post if you want that to stay or go.

I thought that was on purpose! We should totally do light damage.
 
It doesnt matter to me. I can see both sides of the story, but I think as a group, we do well enough to keep our corners clean, so having the penalty of an innocent bystander getting his car destroyed isn't a necessary sacrifice.
 
I had a fun time tonight. Race 1, I had damage and had to drive with my wheel 35 degrees to the left. Race 2, 30 degrees to the right. Race 3 was clean and it felt weird holding the wheel properly.

I vote for light damage. Heavy damage just adds insult to injury.
