wake up! Kaz will be there for Gt Mobile and MAYBE(hopefully) for GT5. The sure thing is that at gamescom he'll have to deal with tons of questions about it.

Yeah the more I think about it, I don't think they would start the PR ball rolling with the E3 trailer and then just stop.

After showing that I would think they would want to keep some momentum going, if its not at gamecom I personally wouldn't expect a 2009 release.

Kaz also seems to choose his words wisely whenever he speaks about GT5 so the fact he spoke about the release date coming " soon " would indicate its gotta be at this or TGS.

Mind you PD's whole sense of time means " soon " could be a year I suppose??

I can't help but wonder why people are actually questioning what happened in the 1UP podcast.

For those who are too lazy to download it, as i was at first, here it is in text.

...
"can you give any more hints or would I be blowing your cover?"

At this points, two things happen at once.

"It's best to stay safe, something big Sony next week."

At the same time, someone pretends to cough, but is making a distinctive "Vroom-vroom" noise.

I've just had a thought. Was GTPSP a playable game at E3? If it was, it was playable 4 months before the release of the game (October 1st). Well if GT5 is released in december, does this mean that it will be playable at Gamescom? Just guessing here.

Nah, I really wouldn't expect a playable GT5. Maybe at TGS which should be the real bombshell for GT5.

Hopefully we will get a trailer or some inside footage with some confirmation on Porsche and some new features with gameplay videos or an on-stage gameplay demo. Lastly, a release date of course.

One can only hope and my hopes are high! I guess it would be highly unexpected to see a playable version at Gamescom but it would be great if not expected to see some footage from the game to lead up to TGS which is 4-5 weeks away. I think.

The question is because I don't see any movement on gametrailers, IGN and similar sites, like they did past E3 Live forums are good... But not enough and I think I'll be free on August 18th afternoon.

Checking the Home page every couple of hours and seeing no new news is depressing.
