Don't forget that he's also been linked to Caterham, replacing Jarno Trulli.

Actually, I think Trulli trashed him because he was afraid Petrov was going to take his seat.Wouldn't that be poetic justice. Petrov replacing the guy that trash talked him and Senna.

He was very close to the highly-rated Glock last year. Certainly closer than di Grassi was.He did virtually nothing that showed and real potential, even if he was in a Virgin.
Or HRT - but there's been nothing connecting Sutil to HRT.With whom, Williams?
They've as good as. I posted a link to a story earlier about it.Did they sack Liuzzi?
I doubt. He did virtually nothing that showed and real potential, even if he was in a Virgin. He'll just become another F1 reject like Di Grassi.
What are you supposed to do in a Virgin?
*Ahem*What are you supposed to do in a Virgin?
I have to be perfectly honest, and of course I'm not criticising you for posting that, but I really don't care at all who drives for HRT next season. For me it's irrelevant.
prisonermonkeysA decision on HRT's driver could be made "within ten days", according to Jerome d'Ambrosio's manager:
http://www.crash.net/f1/news/175906/1/dambrosio_van_der_garde_working_in_stealth_mode.html
I want to know. It's huge for the drivers be abuse their lives have been Rodin on that and it could be there first or second chance at their life long dream. I'm anxious to see who gets the seat
Did they sack Liuzzi? I must have missed that. I thought he was partnering de la Rosa.
He was better than di Grassi, but I doubt d'Ambrosio will get a race seat. He wasn't quick, (Who would be in that car?) but he was consistant, which, even in the seemingly bulletproof world of modern day reliability, is a good thing.
Like I mentioned a fair few pages back, there's this culture now of drivers who get one possibly two chances in F1 before they're 25 and are then thrown on the scrap heap.
I didn't see this mentioned previously - Alguersuari turned down reserve role at Red Bull:

I feel better about Buemi being there now, somehow.
Gene would be unrealistic, but Badoer? He was humiliated by what happened at Ferrari and the fans reaction (calling him "look how bad you are"). If it wasn't obvious enough, we've seen the last of him in F1. Shame really. A wasted career.
He'll probably think of turin 2006 as the highlight of his career.
