It always is. The speed differential between DP and GT was great today. I didn't see any problems other than lag which isn't anyone's fault.

@tbw: the last part of the race went problem free from a lag standpoint. DP turned into an all out sprint.

Another wild race, Indy and Gaz got away as we fought for position. Towards the end I got away from "the pack" and set sail for Gaz in 2nd but then the cars behind crashed or called caution, it was a good effort none the less, a solid 3rd & 1st for the Audi cars which is big accomplishment based on how it was going the first 15 laps which was not good...

Yes it is much like Nascar with a pack, its just that cars can start to escape the draft after 10 laps when tires start to wear. With a whole bunch of yellow flags though strategy or "pace" cant take its course.

Yea. Normally, we have 2 or fewer cautions. Lag played the devil in today's race. After the last restart, it seemed like each DP was right on the cusp of each other's draft. No one could breakthrough though. Everyone was giving 10/10s

Usually we will have 1-0 cautions. Today was a odd race.

Indeed. I made 2 mistakes. Both were in the chicane. The car suddenly lost grip twice for no apparent reason. I'm still kind of curious as to why that happened.

I'm sure most of those laps were draft assisted. I remember doing a 1.33.9 while leading. I was pretty consistent 1.34.1s to 1.34.5s

Yea, I wish I could've done a run with low fuel and new tires.

Hopefully I can get the internet figured out by next weekend. The internet company will be getting a nice phone call tomorrow!

Congrats on the third Rich! I completely dropped back on the start and both restarts. It was a hard fought win. Not bad for my first race though.

If it's this close at Fuji, we'll be this close all year long. Usually, Fuji is nowhere near close in DP.

I know my lap was done during the last green flag laps with new tires. Draft played a small bit on the lap but everybody was running very close.

It was very competitive. With the group c cars, we would normally be spread out after only a lap or two. We were very close for a good 5-7 laps or more today.
