The GTP Rolex Sports Car Series S4! Polar And Mustard Champs!

If this series starts at the time another series I'm in, I may have to drop this. So if there are reserves that want a DP spot, be on the lookout. If I didn't commit to the other series first I would drop that instead and race this. But I should make it for the first couple of rounds at least. All this depends on what time the other series starts racing though.

Sounds good Seth. Keep us posted!

I think I'm kinda dumb by running my series on the same date AND time as this... but I don't have any other day! -_-

I think top gear test track and kart space were chosen :P

hahaha reading through that part of the thread made me laugh. Maybe we could talk polar into doing kart space and as a one off replacing the r390 with tank cars ;)

Make the loop a bowl and drive Spoons around it? :dopey: What's this all for by the way? I'm looking around and I have no idea what you guys are talking about.

Can we get serious? I would like to have a little test. I think Madrid short would be cool. It's fairly straight forward but at least there's 2 major straights without those crazy turns.

But the crazy turns are the best part... :(

I can still see Mini being fun regardless. And yes, the 'triangle track.'

I think we should run Daytona oval with fiat 500s. That would produce the realism this series has dreamed of for years now.

Yup, that's the one. There's a lot of overlooked tracks in this game, that one and Cape Ring South are two of my favorites that not many seem to enjoy.

To be fair, there's good reasoning behind ignoring Madrid. Look how well the ITCC sprint race went there.

I agree. We don't need to start the preseason off with a street course at all. Remember last time we ran a street course in the preseason....

Did you not read? I said Madrid short. That's the 'triangle track' Polar just said. There isn't the fuss of the back to back turns. It's straight forward with 3 straights. One hairpin, one medium speed turn and one slower speed turn.

So, you forgot the ITCC incidents in the said hairpin then?

We ran a different version of the track. I'm no longer in ITCC and I have no desire to be there. You're bringing up something that has no relevance. BTW, you want the video from my end to see what happened on my screen? When you do let me know and I'll show you the amount of lag from some of the racers in that series. This is Rolex, not ITCC.

Actually, son, it has relevence. The part of track Damu mentioned IS STILL IN the short course. If there was a "Charlie Foxtrot" with a single class alone, I'm pretty sure there'll be one there at some point with two.

First off, you're not my father  My name is seth, not son. It doesn't have relevance because were using different cars and this is a two class race. Just because one instance of someone's series having cock ups in a hairpin we shouldn't race there? I personally don't care what track it is, there can be issues anywhere, not just madrid's hairpin. Does that dissuade us from running all the others too?

Probably a "golf delta Charlie foxtrot" is the correct term. It will be that bad. I remember alms series in here had some major arguments after running Madrid. Not to mention the ITCC.
