How unfortunately opposite is that there was just reports of Trump supporters at his rally suffering from hypothermia, and today, his supporters in Tampa suffered from the heat.
A crowded Trump rally in steamy Tampa, Florida, on Thursday resulted in 17 attendees needing medical attention, with a dozen being taken to the hospital, fire officials told NBC News.

Trump spoke for just under an hour in 87-degree heat at the event outside of Raymond James Stadium to a largely mask-less group of supporters.

Good on UPS finding that real and totally not made up stuff. Now ****er, I mean ****er, I mean ****er, I mean Tucker, can show everyone that it's real and not totally made up.

138 million people voted in 2016 (according to Penn State Uni). There's reportedly 81 million votes cast already & 26.6 million mail ballots waiting to be returned (10m D, 7m R, 9.6m I).

Ted Cruz already said it; he doesn't believe 1 person was swayed by the Hunter Biden story, and yet Tucker Carlson & a couple others remain fixated on reporting it. Bill Barr is not even touching it (& it's annoying Rudy as plus). Who do they think they're converting with this.

Who sends documents through the mail in 2020? Why would you just not e-mail it?
On the one hand, you can claim that Google intercepted the email. On the other, parties retain possession of physical evidence.

When your story is a crock of **** like this one, it's arguably better to say it was lost in the post.

Edit:

With damning evidence recovered, the decision has been made to not reveal it...out of decency.

Is anybody surprised by this turn?

All it's missing is Tucker condemning other outlets for beating on Hunter to fully show how dumb his, "Look at us taking the high road" take is.

Didn't see anybody else mention it but I'd wager the reason that box was left opened is because the CIA and FBI have been watching this for a minute or two and waited until those "documents" entered anonymous hands to see what the fuss was all about. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Carlson got his package back, and his legal team got a stiff talking to.

I make a conscious effort to use the US postal system. I strongly feel that, as a social institution and as strategic national infrastructure, it is vital to the sound and durable functioning of our society and civilization itself should the unexpected take place, for instance extended power outages. I receive CDs, printed material and even hardcover books through the US mail. I receive royalty, investment and retirement checks through the mail. I pay most of my bills by check through the mail. I take some pride in balancing my check book and putting that US flag postage stamp on my outgoing mail.

Something that has caught my attention:

More people have voted in Texas already than did in total in 2016.

Pennsylvania (and a few other key states) have delayed mail-in vote counting until the day of the election, and in some counties, until after the polls close or even the start of the next day. That could make Pennsylvania look like it's gone for Trump on election night (mail in voting is heavily democrat). Trump has been telling us how important it is that the next president be determined on election night, so this is clearly the kind of scenario he has in mind. Then, with the supreme court potentially at the ready, he'll try to force electors to go with the early results.

But that last part looks pretty fuzzy. States have as long as they need to count ballots, and electors don't vote until mid-december. Also it will be well known what the party affiliation of some of those outstanding votes are. This scenario doesn't look particularly plausible to me. Anyone have any comments on what I'm missing?

*and yes, this post takes for granted that the President of the United States would try to circumvent democratic elections in the US. That's just where we are.

Hm...well he's put doubt in people's minds about the the integrity of the mail-in vote. If he's ahead on election day, and then the mail vote puts him behind it will play into what he said. It could lead to chaos and protests with doubt about the outcome of the election.

I would hope people would see through it, but here we are. It wouldn't even surprise me if they tried to plant some fake ballots.

Supreme Court's not on his side & he's already throwing out an allegation they will aide Biden in a win.
WASHINGTON — In a pair of decisions welcomed by Democrats, the Supreme Court on Wednesday let election officials in two key battleground states, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, accept absentee ballots for several days after Election Day.

In the Pennsylvania case, the court refused a plea from Republicans in the state that it decide before Election Day whether election officials can continue receiving absentee ballots for three days after Nov. 3.

In the North Carolina case, the court let stand lower court rulings that allowed the state’s board of elections to extend the deadline to nine days after Election Day, up from the three days called for by the state legislature.

I can post the full article if desired as well.

President Trump on Friday sought to preemptively place blame on the Supreme Court should he lose reelection and said that Democratic nominee Joe Biden would pack the high court with “radical left” justices if he wins the White House.

Trump’s tweets followed a handful of rulings by the Supreme Court in cases involving deadlines for mail-in ballots in the 2020 elections.

I can't see how Biden will do that other than if he expands the number of justices. I assume it is frowned upon for an acting US President to order the killing of a Supreme Court Justice.

I'd imagine so, but then a part of me suspects it depends on where the killing occurs and by whom.

"I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot a Supreme Court Justice and I wouldn’t lose voters."

"Covid killed him. Isn't that what the fake news media says? Covid, covid, covid, covid, covid, it's killing everyone. Covid pulled that trigger, and believe me, I know covid better than anyone".

Y'all have issues...
They seem to mainly revolve around a President who's already tried to overstep 1A, broken 2A, 3A, and 5A (and denied 5A's existence), and who is threatening to break 20A and 22A if things don't go his way over the course of the next four days.

Which would be perfectly fine issue to have, because that's exactly the kind of person your entire country was created to stop.

Here's reasonably optimistic coverage on a range of scenarios that could disrupt the election at key points in the timeline.

I got my popcorn and guns ready, how bout y'all?
Unfortunately, I do not see a clear result being obtainable by the end of Election Day. There may be no winner certified for days or weeks. So that particular entertainment won't be happening, in my opinion. However, violent protests and shocking actions during the day and evening of the election may well occur. Popcorn and beer are in order, but not guns. In my opinion, the crisis will build more slowly and probably take place in courtrooms away from the sound and fury of the streets.
