Nonsense. Looking at the percentages, there's just barely enough votes left to close the gap. They gone.
Michigan for example, Ingham, Washtenaw, and Wayne county are at 50, 67, and 37 percent. Those are pretty heavy in Biden’s favor. Well see. It will be close.

Looks like Nebraska is going to split its vote for just the second time. So far, of all the projections that have come in, NE-1 is the only flipped vote from 2016.
Do you mean 2? The 2nd district is Omaha. It's going to Biden this year.

Speaking of which, thus far both Dems and Reps have flipped one senate seat each. This is arguably more important than the president. Gideon in Maine seems set to win but the votes are only half in. Kelly in AZ will flip blue which equals only 1 gained seat. Tillis will probably retain his seat in NC. Hickenlooper flipped a CO seat blue, so that's 2 gained seats. Until Georgia's runoff, that's all she wrote on flipping the senate.

Who's favourite to win currently?

It's complicated by the mail-in ballots which apparently are being counted after the election day ballots are counted, so that could swing the totals by a significant amount.

Also Georgia is tightening as votes come in from urban & suburban Atlanta. It's getting much closer to the pre-election polls.

NYT isn't clear on MI's absentee counting policy, but if that's true then those absentees will have to heavily favor Biden, by like 80%+.

PA has approximately 2,200,000 votes left to count. Biden is a tad over 700,000 behind currently. For him to close the gap, over 65% of the remaining votes will have to go to Biden. One only blue county is beating that rate.

Honestly I'm thinking GA and NC are still better bets than PA.

Twitter has hidden Trump's tweet that the Democrats are trying to "STEAL" the election by casting votes after the polls have closed.

It is incredible and frightening that the US President can make such blatantly false claims - so false that even Twitter cannot abide them - on election day no less. Trump should be banned from Twitter.

Meanwhile, he's about to make a live statement from the White House, which the BBC are reporting is likely to send the US into an historic and unprecedented constitutional crisis.

A BBC correspondent claims to have received a fundraising email from the GOP at 1.41 am which claimed that the Democrats were attempting to steal the election...

Let him tweet.

Let anyone tweet.

Let the public decide.

The public does not decide what is true and what is false.

It's highly ironic, however, that Trump is calling this election a "major fraud" even though it looks like he is going to win by a clear margin...

Tell that to your president. He just went on national television and said he was going to ask SCOTUS to put a stop to any further vote counting. There are still millions of legal votes that haven't yet been counted. I know that doesn't bother you - there is nothing your team could do that would bother you in the least - but what he just said should be extremely concerning to anybody who cares about democracy.

Even if Trump ends up winning legitimately, declaring victory before all votes have been counted is a seriously bad move; Cowerdice? Butthurt about potentially losing? Being an idiot?

Or a combination of all. Win or not, he is demonstrably unfit for office and has been long before this. :indiff:

It's clever. From what I've gathered, if he declares a victory and they stop counting the mail-in votes, it goes to court where he wins.

I think it would've been more practical to start counting the mail-in votes earlier

Of all elections this is definitely one where votes shouldn't be opened before it's time for them to be opened.

I don't get to speak for you, you don't get to speak for me, Trump doesn't get to speak for Twitter. It's their choice to flag untrue or illegal statements on their site. The fact that the seal holder of the United States is falling foul of such a simple policy should be worrying you more.

I really don't get, how many Americans voted for the orange clown again.

i thought most of them would have learned after four years of lies, childish tweets, and plain dumbness.

Rural America does not trust the Democrats and the Democrats put together a weak candidate. That could be the arguments.

Ok, i can get that, but don't you usually choose the lesser of two bad choices?

And is Biden that weak? I would have guessed that all of Trumps shortcomings would make Biden a better candidate?

E.g. his latest move, saying that they have to stop counting, so he won?
Uhm what?

That man is a danger to the whole world if he gets reelected. More lies, and division for America. For all we know some irrepairable damage.
