Here's my tune, consistently running 1.19s, still some gains to be made if you can get it through the corners quickly.

Easily pulls away from Amo's ghost at the start, but loses it through the corners. Also gains some ground on him going up the hill.

If you improve your time by modifying this tune, let me know so I can try it as well!

Fully modified, add all parts including rigidity improvement.

Tune does not work well on the (C5) '04 premium version (which has higher power, but is less stable through corners)

New oil all upgrades but I cant get to your HP and PP. I'm at 704 HP and 575 PP. Hopefully I get some more when I have time to break it in.

Still it took time of my fast time but still a second off yours.

Edit: I did an engine overhaul and that gave me the HP

Ford RS200 Rally Car

The car is used, but I can't remember if it's had engine/chassis refresh as I haven't driven it for ages. It has had an oil change at some time in the past.

It drives like a proper FWD rally car does on the loose - loose rear to help it turn off the throttle, then on the throttle to balance the oversteer and drag it out of the corners. Being 4WD, you also have the option to use the throttle to help it turn on some of the tighter corners, but the trick with this one is to avoid wheelspin as much as possible on the exits this loses you loads of time.

On the fast downhill switchbacks, you need to use the throttle to balance the off throttle oversteer... if it's too mobile for you, move the ballast forwards in increments of 5... this will make it a bit harder to turn in to the slower corners though.

I'll be having a go at refining this further later in the week as I think it still has a bt more to come.

i do wonder is there a reason for getting engine stage 3 when there are better hp/pp options out there.
I also do wonder why in some non track specific vette guides it mentiones specifically gettign things that don't influence pp in any way like flywheel, but omit driveshaft for example. Is there a specific reason to not getting what i see essentially as free upgrades?

As i mentioned in a previous post the Stage 3 Engine did not seem worth having.

Had a go with stottys car got a 1.04.0xx this is my first time on dirt not sure if its for me but I'm gonna get back on it later and improve will be happy to get 1.03.500 then I will go back and do solo career because I've only done a couple of races and I want all my trophies.

Just managed to shave of roughly 0.4 seconds of my previous best lap, 1.20.xx, here I come!
Contrary to what I thought a bit more weight actually helped the overall balance of the 'vette.

And props to pad-people who manage to run sub 1.20 laps with relative ease, I seem to have reached a brick wall

I tried fitting just stage 1 engine upgrade and it indeed seemed to change the curve and make the car, more manageable i guess. It feels less understeery actually but maybe it just compensates for my badness.

Tried the tune by jimipitbull and found it very difficult to drive. Couldn't better my time. I looked for another tune and couldn't find one. So I made my own. MY FIRST EVER TUNE!
1'19.834 on the first attempt:

Think I used it once and I didn't notice a big difference in handling.
Of course it could just be that I wasn't pushing the car hard enough

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't really notice a difference. You've got a point there, there's got to be a reason why all of them use it. Guess I'll give it another shot and hope for some improvement in laptimes.

ASM smooths the steering inputs. To me it feels a bit unnatural and at times I feel like I'm fighting with it for control of the car. That said, if you can work with it and are already a fairly smooth driver it will help make your control inputs even more precise. Unlike SRF that causes a car to react in unnatural ways, ASM just works to help correct the small twitches in your steering input.

I personally don't use anything but ABS1, but then again I'm a slow driver so...

Who said anything about ASM? It just slows you down. Never use it.
I never use TC either, I'm an ABS 1 type, but it actually gave me some tenths of seconds with the 'Vette because I couldn't be bothered to feather the accelerator that much. Active Steering is something else altogether. ASM is for sissies/pussies. SRF is for zombies and you can quote me all you like on that last one!

I've been doing this for weeks now on AdrenaTune!
I didn't include the older Vette tune in the seasonal section, as I didn't think it would be relative to the leaderboard fashion, so I just indexed it in its proper place under Classic Muscle Cars. But as tunes are posted, I've been including them on their specific Seasonal Page.

Personally I preferred the Z06 and was unable to beat my best lap, even after jumping in a ZR1.

The latter. It reduces throttle to counter wheel spin and traction loss on a wheel by wheel basis I believe.

Never been much of a TT guy but this one appealed to me for various reasons so I thought I'd put some time into it. Any feedback on the tune, good or bad would be appreciated. This is where I ended up yesterday after about a 45 minute session. I will go at this again a couple of more times and update as I go if improvements are made.

Driving Notes

You'll have to feather the throttle at various points of the track, including slower corners and anywhere where the car is off balance vertically or laterally. Key to good laps is getting the car into the straightest line possible, as soon as possible while exiting corners. along with knowing the track and the points where the car is experiencing negative vertical g-forces and ensuring the car is heading straight when it does. In other words, you don't want to be rotating over a rise at DFR in this car. Often all it takes is a slight lift to maintain control for a split second, as in the right hander after exiting the last tunnel.

Yea, Dalone seems to have went to go find the money for the check that bounced due to the check that his mouth wrote that his skills couldn't cash.

I haven't taken any serious runs today as I've just been testing out some of the other Vettes. The Z06 '06 seems to be my best but the ZR1 isn't far behind. Any of the two cars will work fine if you get the right tune on them. In my opinion, both cars are pretty much equal with a good tune on each.
