Thanks all for the info and help on LSD settings. I need more practice at throttle control coming out of corners to be able to raise it back up.

Can anyone post their supsension settings, other than lowering the ride height, and playing with camber/toe, I have left mine stock.

Thanks in advance, and good luck.

I'm using my favorite tuners set -up Praiano's 500pp one with some slight fine tuning and BB changes to suit the track.

Well, ive tried a lot of cars, but in my hand is the GSX the best, and got 1.02.150. If id Really try, should get around 1.01.4xx maybe, i dont have a wheel so im driving analog and X and Square.

Ride height -20/-20
springs 8/8
dampers 1/1
dampers 1/1
anti roll 1/1
camber 1.2/1.2
toe -0.05/+0.25
hope this helps you, works for me but i like mine to be stable-ish.
:):):) Just be warned when it lets go it lets go properly and suddenly.

Well, I threw you tune on, and after 15 minutes dropped to a 1:02.027, nice tune, the back end still wants to step out on me, but I think that is the driver. I know I will break the 1:02 mark now, just need more practice. Thanks for the assist.

Thanks to the other for their post and help, I will try the other tunes when I get a chance.

The GSX-R i used for this TT is on share, with a slightly unconventional tune, but it works for me. try it out. ;)

May give it a shot if available on share tomorrow night. Improved my time slightly tonight going with 49/51 distribution and BB of 5/3 and switching up to third gear earlier than I had been doing.

1:01.3xx

Managed a 1:00.948 with stewyrippers No 2 car. Just altered the BB to 6/3 from memory. Probably another 0.2 sec to be found with the current tune.

Just noticed that the top ranked GSX-R, "Mixi125", is using sport hards. Wonder where the legit times start... In any case, I think I'm about done at 1:00.796. I don't see getting any lower than that for me.

Nice time mate. Anyone above TC-Amo87 is probably dodgy and maybe a couple just below him as well.

Thanks, you too. I was kinda figuring the same about Amo being the benchmark for legit times. Don't think we'll ever know for sure on this one... it got pretty messy up there.

What's the best way to get the GT-R to 500 PP? All stock engine and no bolt on parts and use power limiter? Or add ballast? Or install turbos and all bolt-on parts and power Limit even more?

1.02.661. GT-R V-Spec 09

Very agitated. I really don't think I am a bad driver, at all, but I am a good 1.5-2 seconds off the quickest guys. I am using Priano's 600PP Academy Version tune with tweaks to the LSD only. Lowered accel sens. Greatly and helped, but still so far off

Just don't get it!!!!!

Gave it a go for 15 minutes this morning before work, granted I had not had coffee yet. I can see where it could be fast, I am still having issues coming out of corners losing the back end, I know it is a entry speed / throttle control issue, which I need to practice with. I am also using a DFGT wheel, and I can see why no one likes the pedals. I did run a 1:02.5 (no coffee), but i am losing a lot being conservative on corner exits, Thanks for the loan, I took note of the tune, and will continue to practice in hopes of finding better lines and control.

I see there are a few guys with very small willies back at the top of the leader-board. It also looks like a few might be using hacked GSX's & are doing just enough to stay at the top? The 58.xxx's must surely be hacks...

Yea, its really hard to tell for sure now. I myself am just using Amo as a baseline as far as the leaderboards go. I'm really just competing with people on my friends list though as the leaderboards have become quite the cluster 🤬.

Dang Skyline you are .100 faster than me now. The exit to the straight gets me at times too. I will try and run nowcontrol's tonight and see if that helps my time.

Yeah mate was looking at my friends list and I was pretty much at the bottom of time sheet although that more to do with a recent purchase of gta5 so thought better get my head in the game and put the times in.
I've not had a clean lap yet I'm makeing a mistake on at least one corner each lap very hard to get the corner entrance and exit perfect

Congrats on the GTA5 pick-up and agree on that one clean lap would see me just below 1:01.xxx for my skill level and time to practice at 20-30 minutes a day.

Yeah it's great game but still love gt5 more than any other game
Still not had a clean lap getting the exit on to back straight all wrong either to much wheel spin or get a out side wheel on grass but managed a 1:01.117

Hello, all! I am pretty new to GT5, but I've been wanting to do it for a long time and finally got it squared away. I was quite curious about the time trial 30s times, and I figured they were hacking. Admittedly, it was a bit discouraging to find they weren't being removed.

I'll be taking a look through this later and see what I can tune up and pump out in terms of times. You're all posting some rather impressive ones.

Used yours on share and improved .044 to a 1:01.290. You have 3 more bhp than mine and I really liked your set-up. Just adjusted the diff a bit to 12/16/12.

Thanks again for putting this up on share and may try again tomorrow night if it's available.

Had another small improvement, now on 1:01.706 ...#361.

I'd like to thank the owner of the car but I honestly don't know who it is, I can't find it in the Profile section. Anyway it's York Green colour and 257hp. I thought it was Nowcontrol's but not sure, anyway I'm sure the real owner will let me know if I'm doing well in HIS car, ha ha.

Only thing I changed was LSD to 20- 8- 12.

Yes, it is mine and you are very welcome.

The reason you could not find it a short while ago is because i took it off share for a brief run in it myself but it is back now.

Very pleased to see people improving with it.

Good on you Nowcontrol.

Wouldn't I lose it when you use it? Even if you return it to share after?

Not sure how this all works.
