Just had a session with the GSX now sitting at 1.01.277 position 180. Take off at least 60 hackers =120 best result ever but can do better.

Nice job Stewy. Just sent a friend request to borrow the GSX.

I'm using Priano's 500pp tune and changed it to full ballast (840kg) and full aero (20) to get 256 hp. Lap time is 1:00.902. May not be the best set up, but it's worked for me.
Are you sure you didn't add an engine stage upgrade to the tune as well? I cant even get close to 256 hp even with an oil change or engine rebuild.
 
No weight reduction just add 200kg makes 840kg. The car weights stock 640kg
 
I did an engine stage 2 to get to 256hp with downforce at 20, 260hp with it at 10 or 15, don't remember which.

Is anyone willing to give up their LSD settings? Pretty sure they require to be lower going from sports to comfort.

Thanks Dave, I will give it a try later, I am still stuck at 1:02.495, with a goal to get below 1:02, not sure I can get there, but I am goin to try, over and over again.

I will check, but I think my weight is 840 (640 + 200), will check later when I get on. Also I noticed setting ballest too far back (+ values) raises PP by a point.

I'm just getting back into this game after some time off. How are these times being hacked? Last time I played this game was around release time prior patches, and I must say I love the changes with the seasonal events.

My only goal is to go through the career a bit quicker, so I'm just looking to get Gold on each track so the leaderboards I was never interested in, but how are the idiots ruining it for everyone?

I used the R8 4,2 without weightreduction, just transmission set to 200 km, and drivetrain + suspension updates. Power reduced to 91,9. The car is very easy to handle, I was in the 1.03s on the second lap of my run. 8 laps = 7 white and 1 red.

I can`t belive I was quicker then you. Im not a fast driver at all; online or at timetrials.

Ha ha Thrustme, I can't believe you see me as one of the faster drivers here because unfortunately it's not the case.
I'm doing well if I finish between 500 and 1,000 which is not exactly top shelf stuff.
Of course I do manage quite well with extremely low PP's in the Seasonals, but that's another story.

Managed a 101.201 but should be able to find another 0.3 sec. Interesting but fun car to drive :D
 
And I'm thanking you too Stewy for sharing.

Managed to knock off a few tenths and am now 1:01.969. Of course I made the obligatory 'few changes', namely LSD from 6-10-8 to 8-5-8, but I'm still playing with that trying to lessen wheel spin without using TC.

Edit; small reduction to 1:01.903.

The darker car is the faster one. now going to see if i can improve at all.:):):)

hahaha...you are the master of low PP's with Noway and i believe that you are very fast as driver too...dont forget ds3 and buttons...lol

Going that low on the LSD Dalone and you're actually "bogging" the car down. I know you're using a DS3, but you gotta keep the Acc. at around 10-15 to be effective. Mine for a wheel is set at 6/15/22 for my wheel. Its been my experience that you want to go as high as you can and just use throttle control to control the wheels spin. (or the gearing...try a slightly longer gear) That way has always been faster for me using throttle control as opposed to lower LSD settings. Again, I know you're using a DS3, but still, try a tad bit more Acc, settings. I drive a very loose car though so maybe those LSD settings simply don't fit your style. Just a suggestion. 👍

I used the lighter blue car and adjusted the BB to 7/3. Will give the darker version a run tonight if I get a chance.

Thanks for that Cargo, I have very little real knowledge of LSD's and how they work (I'm an old dog who doesn't want to learn new tricks) except I recalled that someone once said that lowering the (not sure which one) helped wheel spin.
When I stopped playing earlier today I was still in the process of trying different combinations of torque/acc hoping to find one which suited me. And also not changing right down on corners helps. I always remember racing driver Jimmy Stewart saying he never put his foot down until he out of the corner and going straight, and with a car which spins a bit like this one, that seems to apply.

I'll try your set up and see how I go with it, thanks.
 
Well i tried but no improvement this morning.
Having read some recent posts here will play with acc settings later.
You never know it might work for me although i like my cars to be stable.
But in real life i always used to buy rwd cars as you could slide them better, but dont tell the cops.
Anyway i dont drive now medication says no.
Be back later today for another go.

Hackers are gone/reduced drastically. Currently at 1:01.371 with maybe another .300-.500 improvement in it for my skill level. Max down force and max ballast at 50/50 distribution. Running my LSD at 8/16/13. Need better tranny set-up for the straight and need to clean up the last right hand sweeper.

Thanks all for the info and help on LSD settings. I need more practice at throttle control coming out of corners to be able to raise it back up.

Can anyone post their supsension settings, other than lowering the ride height, and playing with camber/toe, I have left mine stock.

hope this helps you, works for me but i like mine to be stable-ish.
