TT 37: 450pp @ Madrid City/ 550pp @ Toscana Reverse! Tunes In Post 1.

i think the rule for setting the gears are set the final drive all the way right, then the max speed all the way left.
hopefuuly that will help:)

Thanks! I'll give it a try.

Well done, keep going your the UK's best hope of a top 10. :) And your using directional buttons.

Thanks, I'll try a couple more times before the deadline, but I doubt I can get more than a tenth if I really push / get lucky. I'll keep trying though.
Yeah this track seems to be quite good for using the directional buttons because there's a few quick changes of direction, which is well suited, and not that many long curve corners (except the one at the end, where Im losing most of my time) - maybe try the analog stick for that corner...

made a small set up change to my lancer(thanks standroid), i dropped the spring levels to 5.0kg at front and 4.5 kg back. everythig else is stock on the car did a high 1.40 lap.
(also try changing gear around 6000rpm)

Down at 270th at the moment on the Madrid TT, the car I am using is on loan from a friend and is down on power by about 30 bhp, can't make any changes as its on loan! Any one on here with a good setup fancy adding me and loaning me your car, cheeky I know but I am a woman!!! ;)

I have a Peugeot Turbo 16 '85. I'll tune it to Yinatos tune. Will that suffice? I am not at my PS3 at the moment but I should be able to get it shared by tonight.

I'll add you when it's ready to share.

Thanks, it will more than suffice, your a gentleman sir. Doesn't mean I will improve but I won't be able to blame the car ;-)

hello and good evening,

i think, if you're racing with a real car and this one bump high and crash with the bottom like the car at Toscana.
After the crash you must quit the race because the car is damaged.
is it right?

Just sent you a freind request i have 3 up 0n share sebrem in 12th and the top 3 brits are using my cars you are welcome to try them .One with ballast 2 without i find the two without are better.

Anyone have a 205 Turbo tune I can borrow? The car I am currently using will not hold the cornering speeds needed to be competitive, my car also has clean oil and doesn't seem to want to change, even though it has done more than 500 miles.

Thanks in advance :) Hopefully I will find some time to run it in between the football. :D

I can't be bothered doing any more laps, I've lost the motivation for it because even a top 20 will be hard so anyone who wants to use my 205 just send an fr. ;)

I've never noticed you up there before, I think I could just about match that time at the moment but I would really need to attack that last corner without crashing so well done. ;)

I'm guessing the next TT is at La Sarthe because of the Le Mans 24hr race, what do people think?

It's surprising how few comments/requests there are regarding the rally TT. Not too many fans?

I think the car bottoming out thing has put people off and it's quite difficult to get a clean lap.

I really hope you're right. 👍

Yep, that's so frustrating, esp. when you're ahead of the ghost. However, last night I got the hang of setting the car's approach up for the second hump so that it was landing straight & not red-lapping about 80% of the time. I got it into the 1.37's with 1.36.5 being my goal...

Edit: Sorry, bs times - wrong TT. More like a 1.45.xxx lol!

Borowillow, had a second attempt at this TT, this time with your new setup. All I have to say is you more or less nailed it. It is insanely good, you got things that were weaknesses before into positives 👍.

My current fastest lap, I dropped about 3-4 tenths in the last chicane and was about a tenth down on my best first sector so the potential is there for a better driver than me to get fastest lap with this. I don't feel I have to push that hard to do a decent time so might run a few more laps on this and hopefully get somewhere in the top 10. Then I will focus my attention to GT Academy.

Made the top ten. Shame I never did the final chicane fast on my better laps. I think without looking, I have been about 2-3 tenths faster approaching the final chicane than my current fastest lap.

Will dedicate my time to GT Academy now though as I think that is probably more important.

It seems top 10 GTPL people don't like dirt.. I personally love it, and was wishing for this rally TT, and specially Toscana! I agree the jump thing has pissed many people off, but that has its challenges too.
playing around with the suspension setup and ballast position, and hitting the 2nd jump full speed, while downshifting in the air, gave me the best results.
about a 50% or better success rate that is.
I did a 1:42:063 with an old tune from another tt (the snow one) but I'm sure i could do better with a better setup. Anybody in the top 50 want to share his setup?

The madrid TT is fun too, did a 1:37:100 using Yinatos tune, had to adopt to his setups driving style, however top cars are clearly faster, even Yinatos ghost seems to accelerate better in straight lines. Trying with a Clio got me an 1:38:xx, it was as fast as the top ghosts at the straights, maybe slightly faster, but corner acceleration and grip was nowhere near the 205.

Big thank you to Yinato and Borowillow for sharing their hard earned knowledge and posting their tunes, I wish I can do the same thing when i get anywhere near you guys!

@Borowillow: is the setup you posted an updated one? Is it the one friends here borrowed and found it superb?
Maybe this setup is closer to my driving style than Yinatos, i guess I have to give yours a try.

So to make a long story short, tuning makes a huge difference, maybe the difference, but off-course we all know that!
practice and skill is paramount, but tuning is what wins tt's.

Now judging from the cars in the ocd, I guess we have to expect an American car 650pp plus TT in the near future. Daytona? indy? who knows!
I'm sure KB will go crazy!

Today we receive new TT's!

Any hopes/expectations you have?

I have a feeling one of them will be La Sarthe but I hope we get a track that I'm strong on with restrictions that suit me so I can go for a top 10. :) I wouldn't mind one on Autumn Ring Mini, I don't have much experience on it but I imagine finding the best line won't take too long. Also I would like to see a Nascar TT soon so I can see how I compare against KB. ;)

I enjoy driving rally. I even own almost every rally car. But, I lack the skill of trail-braking, scandinavian flick, etc that is need to be successful in GT5 rally events. I golded the TT but I found it extremely taxing and difficult. Fun, but difficult.
