TT 37: 450pp @ Madrid City/ 550pp @ Toscana Reverse! Tunes In Post 1.

Yeah,I had trouble with 2nd, bigger, jump. :grumpy:
I changed the ballast so it was more of a 50/50 distribution and started having trouble with 1st jump

Its just about finding the right line, speed, weight distribution and take off attitude of the car.
I found that brushing the brakes slightly before take-off gave a better percentage of good landings but its still a bit hit and miss

It did it over the 1st jump for me :(
must be the impact of the bumper on the ground guess you gotta be careful

I figured it out , lay off the gas a bit before the jump then gun it a bit just before you launch and it should level the car out. i hit the second jump around 90mph.

This seemed to work for me in my 206 rally car, you just gotta find a way to level the car out. when the lap went red for me my car was nose diving slieghtly but im not shure if thats the problem your having or not is it?

Got a 1:36.932 on my GTP account using BoroWillows car. This will be my first real attempt with my G27 on a seasonal TT. I was actually within 2 tenths of yinato after the first sector and five tenths after sector 2. I happened to slightly overshoot the last corner and lost a tenth or two. It took me about 15-20 laps to get that time so overall this is a solid start :)

BoroWillow, thanks for putting the car up online. Overall the car feels very solid and has good grip on corner entry and exit. The brake balance was very good too as I would be able to catch yinato slightly on braking points. Well done on the tune! 👍

Go with the HP.

Same here. Ruined a few good laps because of that. I never noticed if the red comes on as you hit the ground or not, have to keep an eye on it next time. Regardless, it's a glitch of some kind. Wouldn't it be great if PD had some interns, who normally work for free, you know, college or even high school kids, and they said,

"Hey kids this is the next TT, go nuts for a few days and see if you can find some glitches, loopholes etc".

You know, run it like a normal business that actually tests it's product before it goes public, not one that operates as if it has a captive audience, aka a monopoly, and can do whatever the heck it wants and get away with it.

They do! US:sly:

Anyone have a tune for the Evo Super Rally Car? I have no idea how to tune for dirt. "

~~

I'm in the same boat, would appreciate a tune for this car on this track. Currently posting 1:47 something.

And I found that I must land square on the ground to avoid the red.

If the back end is hitting the ground first then shift the brake balance towards the front and dab the brakes just before you take off, if the front end is hitting the ground first then shift the brake balance towards the back and dab the brakes before you take off. You can add ballast to so that you can increase the downforce if it isn't set to full already.

I have found, in the past, that raising the ride height and/or stiffening up the springs a tad will help also. When you land, your car is bottoming out too hard causing the red time. Key is try to land as soft as possible and not like a ton of bricks, lol.

how do you get the lancer super rally car, do you win it or is it in the ucd?

You find it in the USD for about 300k. I have one and I can put it up for share when I get home in a few hours if you want.

Funny, I remember I found 3 of those the other day and I didn't even bother buying one.

Still nobody with a Lancer Super Rally car tune?

Would really appreciate some help, thanks.

I don't have the lancer super rally either, I've tried lots of others and can only manage a silver, I'm not the best driver, are there any other cars that are easier to handle on dirt that anyone knows?

lol cheers doodle, that would be great.👍

spent a little doing the Toscana reverse with the 205 rally car. man was that fun, what a beast of a car. First time I've actually enjoyed a rally tt. Didn't have any of the trouble others have been having with the jumps negating their times, I guess because I barely lowered it at all.

Two hours in, I still cannot get the Clio to break 1:40 @ Madrid.
Currently sitting 1238th. How are these magicians running 1:38's in the Clio?

Hello
This will be my first post on Gtplanet, first of all I would like to thank you all for the fantastic tips and tunes, I have learnt a lot.
After a few days on Madrid 450pp I managed to get a 1:36.729 currently 30#, I must say that driving a France car from 85 is very challenging. I came up with a tune which fits my driving style and Stick, if any one is interested let me know, and I will post the tune whenever I have opportunity, See Ya on Track :-)
