LSD - 30/30
60/60
20/20
Differential - 50/50

Hope this can help.

No, dont help me. But thanks anyway. Im gonna see other set ups and try this night, my best time is 1:55.564 with my set up.

Hi all

Im new to this forum but noticed everyone is using the gsx r at laguna anyone have a spare they could possibly send me or let me know how to get it, I havent done much on b-spec so would take me a while to unlock it and the time trial would probably be shut by then. Cheers!

For Lagune Seca why not try something completely different? Like a 58 year old car! I took a bone stock Merc 300 SL, dialed it back a bit to make 400pp even and bronzed on my 1st lap, siver on my 2nd. Tossed in a 5 speed close ratio box and some suspension mods and got gold on my 3rd lap with 1:53.633. Not way up on the charts, but good enough for gold and not bad for a nearly 6 decade old ride :)

1:53 is awesome. I got gold with my 1600GT celica :) cant remember the time, but its the first time i've taken the car out. Worked pretty hard on the tune and then popped on the suzuki and went from 10,000 to 1800th in two laps...which was a little sad. But i had fun with the celica and i'll work harder on it yet - have yet to load it with weight and bump up the power.
Suzuki is 116 HP and 840kg vs the celica at 163hp and 840kg.

I am not sure of the weight on the Merc, but at 400pp she was producing 206hp. Nice work with the 1600GT, I love driving the old cars 👍

Try the Peugeot 205 Turbo like I did, 400pp, 189hp-1145kg, high mileage from UCD, no oil changes, stock, 1:49.284, could get into 1:48 without any tuning. Great little car.

I don't remember the time, but I achieved gold using a Dodge Ram. Very satisfying using an odd choice for time trials :dopey:

The Monza TT is a good reason to check out those Zonda C12S' sitting in the garage. Sure are slippery under acceleration with a controller though! Even with the LSD dialed back a ways. Anyone gone to the work of taming a Zonda with a tune for Monza yet?

How about Ferrari 458 for Monza, would detune to 550pp hurt the car too much ?

I did it on the second try with my 458. Fully lightened and tuned including aero, I don't have the details right now because I'm at work. Suspension lowered all the way and tightened up by 1.0 front and rear is my typical setup. Damping increased by 1. Downforce 10/35. Transmission set close ratio for max speed 178. Power is in the mid-400 hp range. Cut as much of the apexes as you can get away with and you should make it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have 458 Italia that I used for spec racing before, I'll fiddle with the car, it has wings, but I might remove it for Monza. Will update with time and tune, as well as some picture of braking point for non ABS.

Add me, put mine on share now, did a 1.44,85 with it, time for the Gallardo on Monza

Hi guys!

Does anybody here have a GSXR with 400pp? I currently used my elise 111r for the 400pp TT event because my GSXR is toned down max at 401pp (with ballast and 50% power already) its because i have stage 3 engine tuning installed in it and i cannot revert it anymore. I dont have a spare stock GSXR i can tune with to fit 400pp regulations.

My current best with the elise 111r is 1'43'465 (not really a competitive time 3 secs off) good enough to be at rank 182 as of typing. Would really appreciate it if someone could share a 400pp GSXR or lend me 1.

My PSN is te9500rpm feel free to add me up or if my friend list is full feel free to leave me a message GSXR borrow or GSXR on share so that i can add you on my list.

Thanks very much GTP! Goodluck to us all!

550bhp...
Step 1) Transmission put the final gear all to the right.
Step 2) Put the top speed all the way to the left / min speed
Step 3) insert the transmission number in each gear.
Step 4) adjust the final gear to the top speed of your car on the track

I used Ferrari 458 Italia for the Monza 550pp time trial, the car originally had a wing installed, but the on the high speed track like Monza, it didn't help much. So I removed it, and did several laps, no ABS, no other aids, with stick controller, manual, my best time is : 1:56.610.

Top speed on the main straight before Variante del Rettifilo is 170/171 mph, on the back straight is 160/162 mph, before Variante Ascari is 159/160 mph, before Variante della Roggia is 150+ mph.

I have some slow section, with a better run 1:55.xxx is possible. I will list my tune below and some pictures of braking points for reference to both ABS & non ABS driver.

Just got done with a short session at Laguna with the Suzuki GSX. Sitting inside the top 100 with a time of 1:43.149. Started with Pr1vatejokers tune as base tune (thanks Pr1vatejoker) and tuned from there. These are the changes I made to his setup so far.
RH 20/-17
LSD 30/46/52
Gear Ratios
1st 5.080
2nd 3.437
3rd 2.757
4th 2.306
5th 1.977
6th 1.710
FG 4.857
TS 112
TS @ top is 111 mph. May need to adjust that because I'm hitting the rev limiter at the end of the front straight. Car is quicker for me with the higher LSD settings. Peace.

Hi, Thank you I used Pr1vatejokers tune and yours Gold FIRST try!!! 👍

Cool, congrats. I did some more tweaking earlier and improved my time aswell. I'll post the whole tune with the changes later. Peace.

Did this as my first race after 24 hours of LeMans... After so much high speed my first choice of car felt very portly slow, and reminded me of some ... F1 Driver who defended his choice of some Econobox road car - saying after you drive the best you have no desire to drive fast on a public road in a car that doesn't even come close.

Anyhow I dusted down a very old C12 Zonda - that I had painted Brocade Yellow (Tigra Green) - The car felt very odd, poipoising in several places on the track and my own natural ABS was a bit wonky and I was leaving huge "Elevensies" in the brake zones... Monza felt very funny, but after 3 laps I managed to work out just what grip my car had and got Gold... Got out of shape in Parabolica, but I fed in the power and gave her a dab of oppo and the back skipped back in line and I sped off to get the gold.

The Laguna Seca TT was painfully easy, I had a 86GT - that was the first elegible car I had - 400pp... Maziora Seyfert + Orange wheels.... must be my car... and it went under gold effortlessly. (No boy racer style lock ups either...)

Zonda took 3 with me pedalling too hard (Off at Roggia and Lesmo : Part Duex)

Only got 170% bonus - gutted...

I have an spare GSX - Setting A is Privatejoker's tune and Setting B is CargoRat's tune. If anyone want's to borrow it send me a FR.

Further improved my time. Currently 56th with a time of 1:42.371. Still tweaking on the setup and will post in full in a few hours. Peace.

Current time 1:42.371. Just move TS to 112 and set the rest of the gear ratios. Like I said before, I used Pr1vatejokers tune as base, thanks again Pr1vatejoker. There is still more time left in it for me so in better hands with similar driving style, you should be able to improve your own time with this. No mods were added to this car except clutch and flywheel. It is a 0/0/0 car with no initial oil change. No chassis reinforcement. Good luck everyone and keep the pedal to the metal. Peace.

Also, just a tip that works for me. Whan coming to the last left hander before the straight to the finish line, I get down shifted to 2nd going in then hit 3rd full throttle at or just a hair after apex. I have picked up a little over .100 just in that one corner alone by hitting it just right. Also, if you can take the right hander just before that in 5th gear keeping the revs up, you can pick up time there also. This is using my trans settings of course. Going to have another quick go. Tomorrow is grand daughter day so gotta get my time in now, lol. Peace and good luck everyone.

EDIT: Improved my time by about another .300. Now at 36th place with a time of 1:41.996. If I could get a good run on the corkscrew, I could gain some more time. Thats it for me tonight. Back at it tomorrow evening. Peace.
