Yes you can. The old kart was renamed and is one of the two eligible.

I think it is fair to assume that PD must have made enough money with their DLC-Pack as this is not a very clever move from a profit point of view; they could just go N/A for those who have not purchased the TRACK so far - kind of as an incentive to buy it after all? Anyway, I'm glad that all of you are able to drive the time trial no matter if you have purchased the TRACK or not. Looking forward to a SPA seasonal ...

^^^ this... Is possibly why they've done it - give those that haven't yet purchased DLC (myself included) a little taster. Those that are not really fussed by it all may well be encouraged to buy the DLC afterwards.

Scraped just under 7k on the Nurb drift trial...cannot be bothered at all to try for more, not really got time, but hey, not bad for an HKS CT230R and 4 hours sleep

Well your point is respectable and some of us who bought the content aren't necessarly happy about it but I guess they have good reasons. As you know some users suffer the DLC/wrong region disc issue, this seasonal could mitigate their pain a bit. Furthermore it could indeed be an incentive to buy it. In seasonals you can run only with karts and you can't host it online so it's kind of a marketing demo/shareware for Christmas Holidays. We still have more access than them.

I was 12th last night when I went to bed for the GTR Nurburgring GP TT. I am probably 20,000th now though LOL.

I ran a 2.05.0xx on my 2nd lap and called it quits after that. If I can get 5 seconds below the target time, I am happy.

You sound somewhat bitter DT... You're aware that 8 of the top 10 are using a DS3, right? I've just had a quick 20 min blast using a Vantage and DS3, scored 17k while 'no score'-ing the last bend. Would be confident of 25k+ with a bit of practise. And I'm certainly no pro kid... That said I think I'll have to break out the Speed 12 later on... When in Rome and all that
