@Eclipsi:
Let us know, pls., how have you setted your morotbike:sly:
Of course, you can post your setup reserve, that of 1st place keep it to yourself:tup: :Your top ten direct competitors can exploit it to attack you

Yes, he have a very good setup, my car is much less stable.

I can do 1'29.4 but it's a perfect lap for me with my setup.

I first tried Madrid in the Ford RS200. I thought AWD would help with those tires, but I couldn't get below a 1'44.6. I tried it with the 111R and got the gold on my first clean lap (3rd total). Is the RS200 not that good, or do I not know how to drive it?

That car confuses me. The production model once held the world record 0-60 time, not much over 3 seconds yet the car in GT has always been kinda fun but not *that* impressive. There was an RS200 Evolution (which is in a certain other driving game franchise), perhaps that was the "fast" version but it was only ever a homologation limited production run in the first place.

Guess i'll have to Google (sigh)

I skipped TT 24 monza X-1 (and i can't be bothered with drifting) but (to my surprise) i'll be amused with Madrid City/ Reverse TT untill TT25 pops-up. I'll look for a tune for the Lambo Miura and try to get gold (or steadily improve my time) on TT24. I have to shave 0.3 seconds off my time wich should be peanuts when i find a tune .., atleast thats what i hope -looks desperately towards to sky-
Greetings stano666 :)

For those looking for a fast time on monza, i will freely admit to not having a clue about modifying the suspension, however the rest yes. You want:Max aero, max speed 258mph
It is possible to take very turn flat apart from the first two chicanes, and the second one you will be surprised with the leniency PD has on the track limits. Time of 56.530 is my best, with a DS3. Quicker than that though, i can't help you

Betrob, thx a million.

I was wondering how it was done, I decreased the aero to get more speed but at a point couldn't take the corners flat out, so after a couple of sessions I could only muster a 58.1

Completely forgot to change max speed, so I'll try again now

Here are the settings I used for the X2010 Monza one.

Aero - 114/159
Transmission - 3.661
LSD and Suspension - stock
Brakes - 6/5

Not perfect but a good starting point I think. I'm flat through all but the first and second chicane and reach about 264mph at the end of the main straight.

I'm at 133rd at the moment with a 55.870

Obviously the most important things are the aero and tranny settings. What have others set these too (if you want to share)?

Hi guys!

Little help (X2010):

Aero: 123/142
Transmission: 444 kph (X2010 S. Vettel)
Spring Rate: min/max
ARB: 1/1
Camber: 2/5
Toe: 0/0 (important)
Brake: 5/10

55.085 (controller steering sensitivity: 7)

And my best sector times:
1st: 17.7xx
2nd: 17.1xx
3rd: 19.9xx

Cool man. Yeah having the steering sensitivity on 7 helps a lot. Can you elaborate on your suspension settings a bit? Would help; I had no idea so left it stock. It looks pointy but stable at high speeds.

You were right below me (.002 secs) before you leap froged way ahead!!! Was this set-up this reason you jumped so far ahead?

I learned the 2nd sector. The first sector relatively not hard, but Roggia is a *i*** (brake very late and turn sharply).

I wonder if attacking the course in the rally style would yield good results in an AWD? Sadly I'm not good enough, but would be interested to see what any good rally drivers could come up with.

Nice set man:tup: I've just changed aero (123/153) and final gear (440 kmh). Improved half second. Now 0.55.9

Anyone? cheers:)

Are you talking about a part you buy, or the "restore chassis rigidity" service? Got a spare X2010 to experiment on?

For the part you buy, I am not sure, as for the "restore chassis rigidity" service, if you are comfortable with tweaking the suspension settings to compensate for the loss of chassis flex then you should do it.

I kind of doubt a "real" X2010 would ever need this in its life if the carbon weave was laid up correctly, and I never saw an autoclave in the GT Auto Garage, but maybe the piano music inspires them to stiffen some other way... they always keep that door closed so who know what kind of stuff is going on in there.

I did the Madrid TT with a Dodge Neon SRT-4 and it took me almost 7 laps before I barely got gold. I did one lap with my Elise 111R '04 to see if I could do better/get the 250k again and ran a 1.42 something. But no more money :(

changed to manual box, using settings as posted previously down to 133.194..happy but now want sub 133 lol..no pro advice coming through so i'll play with the diff and box a bit and see how it goes :)

I use DS3, wheels are too expensive right now! So this might not be any use if you use a wheel...

I haven't got anywhere near max out of mine yet (1.32.3, 217th atm) and I haven't got round to playing with every setting yet. But the most important settings I have found are front and rear camber and toe. 'Slidy' MR cars in GT5 seem to appreciate a decent amount of rear camber to stop them sliding so much.

Front camber: 2.5
Rear: 1.5
front toe: +0.05
rear toe: +0.09

seemed to make the car behave really well without losing speed. Could probably get away with changing the toe settings closer to zero if it's losing a tiny bit of speed on straights, not sure yet.

Gonna have another blast tonight to see if I can get into 1:31 territory. I just can't get my head around how people can run 1:29 laps with a DS3? My thumbs seem to cramp up and I can't hold them steady enough!

Can anyone describe what positive effect a good LSD setting has in this time trial? I haven't really got the hang of tuning it yet despite owning every GT game since 1998! Suspension I can generally figure out ok with a lot of laps

For those of us without the GSX/R, since when is the Shigeno not a "normal car"? But a frickin' concept car is "normal"? What the hell is this nonsense?

I tried to do it in the BMW 2002 but couldn't manage. Silver trophy. Ran out of time. :guilty:
