Had a couple of hours with the pad to get a basic tune. 👍 63 at the moment. using the rx7-spirit r type a (fd) 02

1:39;.677

will get the wheel out later 👍

see what you think friends :)

Thank you for tune, got 1:40.053 after few laps

Lost Killers loaner car when I tried to change to another set up so bought a new RX7 and tried 'pmjg's' tune, which I found helpful.

Took the downforce up to 8 to settle it and changed the height to -20 and + 30. Worked for me, took another 6 tenths off, down to 1:41.391.

Am using the buttons myself and it works OK. Best thing to do is give it a go and see if it works for you.

Hey Had some troubles with the last gtpl account. Anyway car is on share now :sly:
Cbastjan

Thanks Cbastjan, I took it for a run last night. Very nice setup. 👍 Gonna give it a proper go later... :)

Yes you guys, it should have been 1:41.9. Doubt even Yinato's kids could do a 1:21 with this car here.

Yinato's kids?

138# 1.7 off the pace

Anyone wanna share a tune for the celica st185 drift event? Lol

I got mine on share.. Just add GTP_JK83 and copy there, I'm sure I can hit 9k with it if I got interest bit more :)

I think it's a little silly about the rally-event that there's only one car that you can actually tune to 550PP.. the Mitsubishi Super Rally car.. that one goes to 566PP with a stage 3 engine tune and hi-rev turbo (stage 3).. no other rally cars I've been through has been able to actually get above the 550PP, and i believe I've been through the list..

Anyone have a tune for the Mitsubishi Super Rally car? I've been playing around with it, but only got a 1.10.007 to show for it so far

After what's probably been 200 laps by now over the last 3 days, I've managed to get down to a 1:40.368 in my RX-8 Type S for 288th position. My highest ranking at any time in any of these. :)

Not sure if I can get below 100 seconds but I'll have to try.

The Subaru rally cars all go over 550pp see first post for tunes

Up to 139th and 361th in both TT's, with little mistakes at Grand Valley. First bit of the lap is tricky to master. Liberal use of the handbrake in the hairpins at Eiger seems to work too. Praino's tune worked a treat there 👍

Just an attempt at humour Jay. As an 'older' player I am impressed at how well kids master all things ..computerised. Therefore if Yinato has kids they should be brilliant at GT5.

My rx7 is on share again

Hi

So I seem to have hit a wall with the Evo TT. It took at least 20 laps just to get my time down from 1:07.1 to 1:06.8!!!!!!!!

Of course 200kg placed at the back (50) to get the back end right around the tight corners for best exit point and early acceleration. No down-force, max.bhp. Slightly positive camber and positive toe. Front sus up and back suspension down.

These are the basics, but I am a noob at tuning. Anyone running low 1:06 or high 1:05 care to share what they are doing with the Torque Differentials and the Transmission Ratios. The top ten seem to burst out the corners a little faster and for the life of me I can't maintain 93mph through that fast right/left on the back-straight. I have played around, but I can't work it out. I think, perhaps, I have just reached my limit, no amount of further tuning might not make a got of difference.

Great fun this TT, hugely addictive, but very frustrating. The skill required to go sub 1:06 is frankly alien :nervous:

Cheers,
rhp82amman

 Alien kids? :)

Aloha friends. Here is my setup for Eiger Nordwand (based on old Yinato setup). Atm on 27th place (01:06.183). Setup has at least 0.2 sec room for improvement.

Shift early (power curve). Use 1th gear on first 2-3 corners for back roll.

Hey guys, this is my first TT, any tips?

Check out the Tuning forum. There have been a lot of well put together settings made especially for the cars allowed as of late.
