Think about how much data needs to be shared in order to play each others courses. Elevation, time, corners...this could be a preparation for the course maker. I remember at some point in FM3, we couldn't even see each other's custom liveries in order to reduce lag.

Not trying to up the hype, but it's looking good.

:banghead: Read carefully. They changed the physics, and in doing so, they had to adjust the default settings of the tuning parts to match the physics update.
Alright, calm down - I couldn't be bothered to read it before my reply. My point still stands though, in that the cars did not need the default suspension changes (including MR cars). The physics themselves didn't change that much at all from what I remember, so I'll ask - what was so bad about it, if tuning restricted races weren't the problem, what was? I'm failing to see your point.

That was when the cars started having crazy camber angles as stock, because of their physics adjustment. Most cars had 0.5 and 1.5 camber as stock, back then during release, all cars had 0.0 camber as stock.

As for the thread, well PD did manage to surprise us with the Red Bull Ring and Midfield Raceway. Both were unannounced. Who knows? Maybe PD will surprise us again after this maintenance period. Maybe.

i remember them being announced the day before.

I don't know about you, but for me and some people, the difference in physics were very profound. For me, all of my drift tunes didn't work anymore, my cars were just sliding all over the place. I had to re-tune my cars because of that, but even then I couldn't match the driving feel my cars once had.

i remember them being announced the day before.

That particular update really caught me by surprise. I just want the old physics back. :indiff:

Two maintenance periods. There will be no course maker but instead will add more disappointment and more threads getting locked. The 7/01 maintenance thread got locked because of these guys debating or protesting or whatever about the Course Maker. Why can't you guys just keep it to yourself. Are you over hyped course maker beggers the GTP Troll Police? I know I started this whole course maker protesting crap but it wasn't necessary for people to go all crazy over it and everyone went too far and it caused the thread to get locked.

The GT6 forums are now starting to become a war zone. Nobody won't shut up about the course maker until it's finally released and works flawlessly.

@MatskiMonk Fix your title. It's 7/7 & 7/9

2 8 hour maintenance periods?! Course Maker, Sound uptdate, GPS functionality, FIA confirmed.

Going to be labelled SPEC 2.0 with an addition of some new cars as well.

I can see it now... :sly:

Not yet! We don't know that for sure. Don't get your hopes up too soon or too much, or you might get letdown again like 2 days ago.

Oh yeah, one more thing, doing stuff like this will get this thread shut down like last time.

Good luck becoming disappointed and trying to bring this thread down.

And the times are at a different period then usual, but similar to last years infamous double maintenance period start time. The times translate to 20:00 - 04:00 in Japan. Skeleton Shift, much?
Im kinda new, what infamous double manteinance? What did it lead to?

Inb4 "something to do with course maker"

Lol but hopefully they fix servers still have problems joining quick match events

I have never seen so much discussion over 16 hours of offline servers.
That's because this is the first time since last year a double maintenance has occurred and if I'm correct this is the first in GT6 history to have an 8 hour maintenance.

I do believe that PD is preparing something however. So many maintenance periods in such a short time space can only mean to me that they're testing something.

Just dont be mad and delusional when it didnt come and called a perfectly real staff fake while you at it.

Its good when it actually come but lets be realistic

IF the course maker is in the pipeline for the next few months,

If I'm happy? Well, it's only a feature that PD announced 2,5 years ago. So...
