Well, the McLaren was OK, but I was much more excited by the 1958 Testarossas though, there were 2 there, the yellow one, and a red one too.

Well I am a McLaren nut!

But the Testarossas are beautiful cars. 👍

@ smallhorses: my feelings arent hurt really! was just shocked to see it put in print!! :embarrassed:
maybe people who came to the lan, will now look at my avatar with a sad understanding, as i now do to some of the other attendees!!! ;)

you may also be slightly tickled to know that the diswbled sign featured in the pics has now been covered in tar and re-painted with the correct spelling. :P

but sadly newark is STILL an anagram of wanker!!

p.s. those are mind blowing pics smallhorses. makes the ones i showed you of the castle combs Japanese fest look kinda bleak. mind you, i dont see any honda beats in your pics!! :sly:

Excellent photos, Nick! Thanks! I would've replyed earlier, but I've been away, and got back yesterday. That's a sexy 'Stang

Shame to hear we've lost the Diswbled, but at least we have the photos to prove it was there :sly:

The UKGTPV Transformer is alive and well and has even discovered he has feet...💡

its good to see so many of the prizes are so cherished!!
oh hum.
makes the whole thing worth while!!!

mmmmm does anyone agree with me that smallhorses has a un canny resembalance to michael goulain?? *hopes famine will now provide a decent pic as evidence!!*

Roo
Can he take pictures of himself in the mirror?
Yes.... yes he can... that's exactly how that picture was taken. He also seems to be capable of transforming and untransforming by himself too :scared:, which for 87p is pretty darned impressive.

Sort of. In a way.

He doesn't do the ironing? Or cook breakfast? Pah. Frankly, for 87p, I'd have expected better. :grumpy:

:sly:

You're all bloody mad.

Nice to see the Transformer is still alive and kicking tho!

He needs a name, better leave that upto Roo.....

:irked:👍

thanks for the pic roo! michael is obviously older, but i definately see a similarity! cant wait to see if smallhorses agrees!!!

wonder how Famine's whoopie cushion went down??!!

It didn't - because it reinflates!

Roo & VEXD - I haven't forgotten, I promise. I've just been helping my dad move...

I see a certain similarity around the mouth & laugh-lines, but other than that, he's got black hair / brown eyes, while I'm brown haired / blue eyed and obviously far more handsome!!!! :P
Though probably not nearly as rich or famous! :grumpy:

Sorry it's taken a while to respond, been busy, you see, I mentioned this in passing to Touring Mars at UKGTP V while we were sitting out a race, and it's taken me a lot longer to complete, compile and write up than I thought! But it's finally done, so come by and let me know what you think?!!!

Polyphony Digital Cup, 100% clean, in a stock '73 Skyline!

P.S. I'm back in England again next weekend, but I guess that's just too short notice, right?!!!! :P

Soooooo, when do we get to see more video clips?

Wasn't Famine or daan supposed to be working on the DVD?
If so, what were you working on, or did I just miss something? I still want to see Roo's airborne M5 moment!

I've thrown a copy of the DVD at daan.

So... you in Blighty now? Want a race? :D

Perhaps you ought to check that you didn't take his head off with it, a DVD is much harder than the foam disks from your gun!

Sadly that was last weekend, :( but I'd've loved another race!
'Twas the flyingest of flying visits arrived Saturday morning and flew back to Cali on Thursday. ;)

So will there be any more videos up soon? I've just sat and read the whole 21 pages in this thread and I am inrigued as to what the flying M5 moment was.
I want to be involved in the UKGTP6 meet! :)

I use 20, it's better.

I'd also like to see more videos, especilly the M5 at La Sarthe moment :)

Dates for next years diary and possible UKGTP 6 or 7?
I'll definitely be back in Blighty again around May 5th 2007 for my Brother's wedding, so the weekend prior to, or after that would be good. :D
Failing that I'll definitely be back in Blighty September 15th 2007 for my Sister's wedding, so the weekend prior to, or after that would be good. :D

Hopefully in the meantime, and with Famine's help (either from afar in the form of spreadsheets, or from here if he fancies a trip out to SF!!!) I'll be trying to organise a Bay Area GTP which anyone from the UKGTP 5 event is also welcome to attend too! :)

I'm pretty desperate to make it to next years GTP event. Fingers crossed. I wasn't even on GTP until after this one, but I've read the thread (woo it rhymes) and it sounded like great fun.

 Sounds very tempting indeed - roughly when would this happen? (I guess it would be called USGTP I??

By the way, were you in France last week?? I was in the Alps last week with a colleague and his son, and his son commented on the fact that there were hoof tracks in the dust - I said they might have been made by donkeys, but he said he thought it looked more like Small Horses...

Can I be included in the mailing list for the next one. I guess it'll be a while yet so I'll be able to prime the wife to let me out for the weekend. :sly:

Damnit! I can't go anywhere without being spotted......
