I will say it again... They claim 300 people.

Given that they are reusing so much, and that the iteration from GTS to GT7 is barely what one would expect from an annual release, much less that it has been 5 years, what are they doing?

GT5 needed a new engine for Ps3 and it had a ton of high res cars, and game play content.

GT6 was half intended for PS4 and they claim that the engine was updated to be PS4 ready. But, it had less overall than GT5.

GTS didn't even have single player at launch.

Now, five years later, we have GT7 which is a barely updated version of GTS, but certainly not a 300 person game.

So, are you suggesting, that 300 people have been working on GT8 since the launch of GTS in 2017, with the knowledge that their game will see the light of day, potentially, in 2025/2026? Are suggesting that 240 people (80% of the team, with the other 20% on live development) are working for 8 or 9 years on GT8?

GT8 would have to be the most epic racing game ever created.

Maybe they should have worked on this one instead.
Rockstar has 1,000 employees and took 8 years to make a game.

Granted, it's one of the greatest games of all time, but... it took 8 years.

That's nice and all but when will we be able to sell excess cars and have the ability to remove parts to adjust PP? Many of the cars I have can't be used in some races because the PP is too high. The car variety is still horrible. There's fewer tracks. I don't know the game just feels like it went out the door unfinished.
Remove parts like an exhaust, air filter, turbo? Sure. You already can.

But if you mean upgrades such as weight reduction or bore up, well there’s no logic in that. They’re not so much ‘parts’ but rather permanent alterations. There’s no reason for them to be reversible.

- Updates required are -

Yes, but GTA is also immensely content heavy. Even if it were terrible as a game, it would require an immense work force.

But, you're getting the idea. Art is always resource intensive. Modelling cars and tracks takes a large workforce. My point is that given the results, I expected fewer people.

Anyway. My bet is still with the Ferrari California

I just hope they improve FFB. At the moment you drive/rumble over curbs and feel just nothing !

And physics pushed just a little bit more in direction of ACC would be nice

Would not be my cup of tea, better to mix between race cars and road cars in my opinion
I’m sure the three cars coming, are not a lot of people cup of tea either. People still complain about a jumbled car update. I’m not a big Le Mans fan. At least, with the pack like my post, the cars can be used together with a theme. The three participated in the same race. Similar to when we got the 2016 Super GT cars in GT Sport.

We only get one new Le Mans car and none of its competitors.
We get a GT Awards car. Mainly to make liveries and take pictures of. It’s a track day car, that may be best used with the other track day cars in the game(X-bow, FXX K, Radical, Amuse(S2K & 380), ZR-1, AMG Black, etc.
Doesn’t fit in GT3, GT4, Super GT. Looks out of place versus classic muscle and pony cars. Not saying players Won’t find a way to utilise it, but with the small addition of cars per month, introducing It with a couple other like cars would be logical. Even though, again, these cars may not be peoples’ cup of tea.

The 3rd car is a VGT. (I detest VGTs)
Why if that’s all they are offering it is better than nothing

Are we going to be able to sell cars in this update

Are we going to be able to sell cars in this update
Remember literally two days ago?
You can see Kazunori Yamauchi's Tweet, which contains two pieces of information - it's next week, and there's three cars - right?

You know that's literally the only thing anybody has right now, right?

We all have the same information: that Tweet. Nobody knows any more that that. Nobody can possibly know if any new tracks or races are part of it.

And we're all still waiting on you to address the complete lie you posted and have subsquently ignored.
Okay I understand
And don't post again until you've addressed the lie you were called out on.

We'll see how it performs, but I think that Camaro might be cool to host an online single-make series with if there is enough interest. In general, you're right though about it being better for PD to release cars alongside other cars that would be competitive with them.

Shelby Series 1 has this high wheel arch...
Check the spacing of the arch. The top of the arch, is closer to top of the fender, on the C7 and RX-V. The Shelby has much more metal between the same spacing.
