Check the spacing of the arch. The top of the arch, is closer to top of the fender, on the C7 and RX-V. The Shelby has much more metal between the same spacing.
Stop stomping on my dreams... lol
The Series 1 has history in past GT , think it was GT3 A-Spec....

It's all good. I have no idea what it is. That arch is what's stumping me.

At the moment, the only thing I've found that matches the general shape (and you need to squint a bit, and imagine the GT image is not shot from dead on the side but slightly above), as well as the cabin placement with relation to the wheels, the cabin size, and the gap between the roll hoop and top of the windscreen (which is also pillarless in the candidate car, albeit far more wrap-around)...

... is the 2020 Maserati Granturismo Targa Concept. But the nose is all kinds of wrong, and also a new Stellantis car doesn't seem particularly likely.

I can only think the unknown car is some special commission Ferrari or an obscure brand Kaz saw at Pebble Beach!

If it’s a mainstream model PD have either done the dirty with the silhouette. Or it’s an all new car.

So we have new Toyota LMP car (it was announced already by Kaz and his team):

What are other two cars?
What we need is the brand : koenigsegg like koenigsegg one , agera R we also got zonda R allready where is koenigsegg who else miss this🤔🤔

Everyone wants Koenigsegg to be in the game, but it'll likely have to wait in future updates.

Thing is though, the mystery roadster seemingly has no side windows.
Not just the windows, but the rear isn't the shape. Just trying to see what cars have the slat on the fender.

HOLD UP

This is the Ferrari SP3 JC and it seems to match the silhouette best. HMMMMMM
The Ferrari is missing that slat on the fender as well. As in the pic below. It's a crease just aft the top/rear of the wheel opening.

I had a similar thought yesterday morning, but with the possibility of it being the 2017 Maserati Alfieri convertible concept. It's close but it's unlikely.

Not only that, but i believe what i was looking at was just a very polished render as well.

[edit 2]

I know it's definitely not it, but if that silhouette was mid engined (which it obviously isn't), i'm getting strong flavours of the old Lamborghini/Zagato Raptor concept from 1996. Definitely has a Zagato vibe about it.

[edit 3]
I know it's highly unlikely but i really hope it's the Honda SSM concept. The concept car that eventually became the S2000. It was my favourite car in Tokyo Xtreme Racer.

This is becoming scary....No one can definitively identify what this car is. It'll be both funny and sad if it turns out to be a VGT or something created by PD. Unfortunately, I'm leaning in that direction at the moment. Save any disappointment.

At this point I've lowered my expectations to such levels that the only thing that I really want is to be able to keep the tomahawk under 600pp

Don't blame you. The two recent car lists haven't exactly screamed 'WOW'. Granted, we don't know what the mystery car is but still...I would have thought that PD would be looking to what T10 are doing with Horizon 5 monthly updates and do something similar. At the moment, if it were a race, they'd be 30+ seconds behind.

Yeah, the fact that they are "teasing" 3 cars is sort of insulting. This isn't the racing games of the 90's where you had like 10 cars. When you have 10 cars, addition of 3 is a big deal. But when you have 430+ cars, I don't particularly care for 3 more, it's nothing in the grand scheme of the game. And what use are all these cars when I can't race most of them? The thing that we need are events. If they would be teasing 15 new events, I would be pumped. But 3 cars? Eh, don't care. I just want a way to be able to afford the cars that are already here.
