Considering the wait, are you happy with how the finished product appears to look?

Oh really? From the images in the article it looked like the circuit had to be connected. Well it's good that you can do point to points then. I stand corrected. You could do half of Pikes Peak then.
Do the bottom half, then make the top half in a separate one. But since we can't control elevation change, might be hard to get it right.

Yeah it won't be the same without the crazy elevation change. Back when we were all talking about tracks we'd make when the course maker came out, I said I was going to make the "Hellyer Gorge" stage of the Targa Tasmania tarmac rally, as it's one of my favourite roads to drive on irl. But, without the elevation changes it has, it'd just be a series of boring hairpins more or less.

The course maker is finally back? Alright, I guess I'll play GT6 again. I haven't touched the game in weeks, mainly due to boredom with it and wanting to try the other games. Anyhow, with the course maker back; I'm going to get into the track making again.

I personally would like to recreate the layouts of some older GT race tracks such as Red Rock Valley. Death Valley looks like a nice location to recreate that track in.

Someone needs to make a meme out of my failure. Maybe bad luck brian? Makes good looking track, way off scale.

Trying it right now on ipad.

Interesting description on Eifel Flat:

"A flat location in Germany's lush Eifel region, but lacking the region's distinctive peaks and throughs. maps and images, GPX/KML files can be superimposed over the editor, allowing you to recreate real life routes"

Is that our "GPS thing"?

Some GPS software can generate these files, right?
Yes, GPS devices use GPX and KML files for route data.

A lot of people need to keep in mind, that it probably doesn't have native support for PS3 because it wasn't designed for PS3. Having it run on a phone/tablet allows it to be playstation platform agnostic. You create the track, you upload the track to PSN, PSN probably does the "track making" and then it allows it to run on PS3.

Does it suck that you can't just use your PS3? Yeah, but on a system already starved for memory, and with a sequel (hopefully) around the corner, I'm ok with them skipping out on having native PS3 support.

I just attempted to make Interlagos.... Pictures are in my thread in the course maker sub forum. Well first off it's flat and quite modified to fit in the course maker app it's 400m off unlike my previous tracks.

Fiddled about with the app, and created a plethora of hairpins and curves. I don't know how that will work out, but I'll see how it goes tomorrow!

For anyone with the app: is the track width adjustable for each sector or the whole track?
Just the entire track only.
