Considering the wait, are you happy with how the finished product appears to look?

I think the majority could agree here that PD should've communicated with the community while they were developing the course maker for nearly 2 years...instead of leaving us wondering what the hell they were even doing all the time in development of the feature..

Did you think about the competition ?

Anyhow this is going to be my last contribution of the night...

Anyone want to guess which track i am trying to do ?

This is based on 15 mins work quick and dirty ... I am actually having a lot of fun... and i thing a lot of lucky people with tablets will enjoy this even more than driving in GT.... I know i am...

Some of you may already have seen these screen shots else where, but here they are anyways sequentially:

I choose my Home Straight, now what:

Skipping ahead 15/20 mins: i completed my work playing around, it's quite intuitive:
What do you think ?

Obviously, it needs to be reworked, refined and making sure the length and the corners are correct...
elevation seems to be totally based on the map terrain... :(

For the one person asking about Weather and Time... Sorry i didn't get that far yet... it's getting really late and i need my beauty sleep guys. My guess is: if any, that will be handled on the PS3 side.

Now i really understand why it is on the IPad and Tablets.... so much easier to draw with your fingers rather than mouse or whatever else (joystick / steering) ?

latest

I can see myself getting very into it... i probably will do a dick tracy track as well LOL

I think its el capito from GT4

Might want to edit your post, its got abit AUP unfriendly language in it.

Muchos Gracias Senior ... Y Buena Noche El Nina ;)

What about the competition?

Well for one, if PoDy shared their progress with us... dont you think the competition is keeping an eye on what's going on, and would be releasing and working on the same stuff, doing their own way ?

Anyhow, now it's out in the open... PoDy has a small lead ahead of the competition and they can now focus on GT7.

;)

That first shot definitely shows improvement to the wet asphalt texture... don't remember it looking like that.
Yep, the weather on the second shot was set in 25% and the surface water at 0%...
the water's surface seems much improved
I never noticed any noticeable difference as the Eifel track ... even in a dry environment, the surface water is remarkable

Weather at 0% and Water Surface at 100%

Even the sun reflects on the wet asphalt...

Really PD, only tablets!! Never thought that someone may not have that type of devices. I mean, I'm old school and would never trade a PC for a studid tablet so I don't owen one and I do not have the intension of getting one. Make this available to smartphones quickly and why the hell can't we create a track in the console??

So they're just going to continue this way of developing forever? Just never tell the community on what the development has been and how it's been going on features on future plans? They can't be like this forever.

4 themes is all we get. No rally or snow themes at all. More expansive yes,but that's it has going for it.

Sorry but it is what it is...

You are missing out ... Dont worry, you will be able to use your friend's track at least...

Now imagine GT7... PD never fails to impress me.

Sad to say, but yes, because everyone (the competition) wants to be in PoDy lead position ....

The competition is fierce in this domain... Turn 10 is doing some fantastic job and is leaps and bound from where they were in the past... If PoDy can keep any lead on T10, they will do so at our expense, but then... Their rivalry is our benefit...

Just patience... ;)

I have 2 smartophones but no tablet. When it's time to piss me off no one can do the job better than PD.

Do you all realize that ... from his one finger , out came this track ?!? that's pretty impressive...

But as always, this community is demanding MORE !! More features... More improvement...

Our impatience and our expectations are insatiable... why ? Because deep down we all love GT / PD !

That's why... and because we all know they (Kaz) can do it.... Soon.

Non track editor tracks haven't changed.

So when I go into the app page on google play on my laptop, while signed in to my gmail account (which is linked to my tablet) it says my device isn't compatible (even says the name of the device specifically).

If I go into the Google Play app on my Tab, and search for this app, it says no matches found.

If I go into the internet with my Tab and search for the app, I can find it in the website version of Google Play, and in there it says it's not available in my country.

...now I'm confused...

It doesn't make any sense. :P

Btw the app was last updated on September 18th.

I didn't even talked about the smartphones. I am writing this in my sony xperia z2 and I can not create track in it.
