I took it out on both and personally I think SH would be better for racing. On CHs I managed to loop it at Brooklands basically every lap and Vale every other lap; on SH I only managed to spin at Vale a few times, and only when the grip on the rears started dropping away about 10 laps into the stint.
It's still plenty lively on SHs and lots of fun, but the grip loss is more progressive, giving more warning when it's about to try and swap ends. 👍 Still have to drive it with both feet, but nowhere near as much as with CHs.
Vale is still a trouble spot even with grippier tyres; do NOT get off the brake abruptly unless you're prepared for the consequences. For those like me who stink at Silverstone, that's probably the number one trouble spot, followed by Brooklands and sometimes Maggots.
Looks like about a 19-lap fuel capacity. Don't know if I'd want to try to run a set of tyres that long, though!
CS is certainly doable, but I'd need rather more practice to feel confident running in company.
EDIT: Much of Europe is going to join us in silly 'Daylight Savings Land' on Sunday. Are we going back to our previous (eye-wateringly early) 7am pacific/10 am eastern time slot?
