VCRC vintage & low power :: Sunday 3pm GMT / 10am US EST

I may make a rare appearance today 👍.

I like my racing on Sundays and @hobbsy hasn't got the Porsches going yet *cough* ;).

EDIT: This thing is a bag of fun! How have I not given this a go before? 115hp under 750kgs, it's absolutely awesome!

My new favorite car on GT6 👍.

:D.

Reminds me of a thing we got over here called a Daihatsu Charade which was a similar kind of ludicrous turbo 80's Japanese super mini.

Well I guess you could since the car's not that expensive.

Yknow what? Screw my term paper, this looks like too much fun! Like I would want to work on my term paper at ten in the morning anyway. If you read this amar, I still won't be able to do shuffle. It's one or the other and I choose this. Only because we run shuffle a couple times a week. Vcrc comes only once a week.

Room up! Qualifying will start a little after 10am EDT. If we get more than 8 we'll take a room vote for 1 long race or 2 short races.

I am quickly started disliking the concept of reverse grid. Respect to @amarynceos for demonstrating that clean pass is possible 👍

Gonna take a short break from online racing and catch up on seasonals, see you in a while

If people exercise patience and planning it can be good fun. Forcing a 3-wide attempt into turn 1 on lap 5 of a 17 lap race, not exactly patient.

Hope to catch you soon Bergele.

There was just way too much contact. I think it has to do with the fact that people are rushing to get passes because its so hard to pass on the track but a dirty pass is not a legitimate pass.

Yeah, too much rough and tumble all around. 👎 I may have been guilty myself, have to take a look later. ._.

Some good racing in there too -- the duel with @Cu3e being a highlight. Lap after lap of really hard fighting and I don't think we had a singe touch. 👍

Looking forward to a return to the full hour enduro format, though.

Yeah, great place for time attack and low-power car testing, not so good for racing. Track feels about 1 car wide a lot of the time. So when people go three wide, well... I was on the receiving end of one of those situations race one but survived; you got shafted by one in race two.

Here's to cleaner racing next outing. I'm hoping anybody involved in any contact will watch their replays and see what went wrong. Going to do the same myself with my incident.

I was only involved in one incident at the beginning of race 2 and conceded directly after , by driving on the right side at the 2nd hairpin and lifting the throttle .If someone see's me doin a "dirty" move , please tell my immediatly as I want to stay part of any series we're running .
I'm triing to drive as clean as possible , accidents happen , but never on purpose .
this weekend after all , I had the best races I've raced so far , first the nurb action with daddy o and brandon and todays tsukuba battle with litchi
looking forward to further events :gtpflag:

I tested a handful of cars the other day and didn't care for any of them so I'm going to fall back on one I tested a couple weeks ago. Let's take the 84 Audi Quattro to la Sarthe. It's one of the few world tracks we haven't been to yet and this car actually has plenty of gearing for it. 👍

How often do you guys have mixer events? I would like to join but I don't particularly like one make races.

Check here for that info, I think they run at least a couple times a week.

Anybody had a go in the Audi at le Sarthe yet? I found it to be a rather enjoyable drive. Would anyone be opposed to mixing in a bit of night racing? Maybe one day race and one night race, or if we do a longer race have a full day-night-day transition?
