Finally had a decent session. Managed to drop over 1.5 secs off my earlier time. I can still see another half second at least, but as usual, capturing it in a good lap is going to be tough.

It is awesome, it is just so flawless, makes me wonder how I can put what I would call a great lap and still be 4 seconds off the pace :lol: oh well tomorow I aim to break 1:45! Good luck to you to no1pal. 👍 and also everybody else :)

Any ideas for upcoming combos feel free to PM me!
 
My Cobra and I are on speaking terms again. 20 laps tonight without breaking any parts, just some scratches and maybe a little dent to clean up. Still gets pretty wild now and then, but lots of :46s and a few :45s this time. And I managed to hold it together for one almost decent looking lap:

Well the lap was far from flawless, this half a second improved lap time is still far from perfect, but it will do for now;)

Incredible! I don't know where you find all the time! Looks, like i'll be hitting the track again later to try and improve. But well done :tuo:

Great laps everyone and especially GTP_DHolland - AMAZING! - What driving view do you use?

Misunderstood - I certainly did misunderstand - Welcome to WDSC now we know the facts!

I can't seem to get better than low 45's and its driving me crazy although I was on a faster lap by about 0.7 secs yesterday but clipped the barrier at the chicane and spun round.
When I picked the DS3 up from the other side of the room I gave up and took the dog for a walk!

Amazing lap Dholland. I never get tired of watching D1 Golds running flawless laps using every inch of the road.👍

I was driving your lines, but you manage to get so much more exitspeed out of every corner.

I did manage to get 1:44.516 on a previous lap, but I tapped the wall twice by Casino. At the long lefthander and barely touched it on the exit of the following righthander. I was so mad, because I had a terrible T1 at 28.9 at that point.

My weakest point of this track is the swimmingpool area. I feel I never manage to get it fast or right.
This is such a addictive challenge :)

Well done! I am just about to start a quick session. Thats not a bad T1 time, whats your best mine is 28.5?

I have seen 28.6 a couple of times. At my legit lap I had 28.7
I tend to mess up my lap down at the marina area.
Good luck. hope you break the 1:45 :)
I´m going for a last stint tomorrow and see if I manage to break 1:44

Arrgh managed to get a flat 1:45, then was half a second up and then messed It up in the final sector! My new best sector 1 time is 28.4 :D

Haha I will, watch out I'm coming for you! :) reckon I can hit a low 1:44, will have a good go tomorrow! I'm good up until the cutable chicane and then between there and rascasse I lose about 1 - 1.5 seconds. Hate that section! Anyway good luck to you to! 👍
 
So drivers what have you learnt so far in this tax haven? Any driving tips you would give yourself if you could step back in time 7 days?

Does the AC Shelby Cobra have some unique qualities that make it easier, harder to chuck about here?

Any of the corners you used to find really hhar dbut now you have got its number and can treat it more like an old friend than a hated enemy?

I've come to the conclusion that this car could be a good "trainer" for learning to be smooth and balanced.

I think of you can go fast in this thing consistently you will be quick in any car/config/track combo...

Thanks guys for the great comments regarding the lap, I put probably 3 to 4 hours into the combo so it was a satisfying lap to drive, and I still have about 3 tenths up my sleeve If needed;)

Well we have all established you are an incredible driver! Gonna have one last session to try and break 1:45
