Am new on here, but i've been looking for some new challenges for a while so had a go at this, great fun and thanks for introducing me to the F40, looks absolutely stunning in replays.
Wish i could get used to manual gears using a controller, reckon it would help to get me time down.

Finally managed to nail a lap and got down another whole second! Went slightly wide on corner before chicane losing me about 0.2 but I'm still thrilled my new time is below:

Must say that I'm impressed of the top times here. Specially the DS3 users.. I tried out with the DS3 and my best time was 2:30.xx

Haha does take a lot of getting used to I mean when I just went on and had a go, my out lap was 2:18 just shows how much time you can gain! Better hurry up cause sunday is when week 2 starts!

I am often i front of my ghost, but its so easy to loose time on Suzuka. Be a little to hard on throttle on the curbs and you´re in the sand box
I find it hard to be consistent. Its both a frustrating and fun challenge

For most of the lap I am off the 'racing line' because its not necessarily the quickest way round the corner for me.

Managed to get to 2:14.225...now for some serious grinding. I want to get to 2:13 by tomorrow evening. We'll see....

Edit: Fixed a mistake on my time and also just got back from Arcade Mode and using the Arcade Mode car to confirm: New time is 2:12:013.

Thanks for putting this up. I ran for about a half hour and had a blast. I bought a new F40 for this.

Other than the car being painted some variant of French Blue and the wheels being swapped out for something better looking, the car was bone stock.

All aids except ABS 1 were turned off. I hit a 2:12:1x.

With some more time and luck, I could scratch 2:11s. I was running close to the ragged edge, but it wouldn't surprise me to see somebody getting into the 2:10s or even 2:09s.

I'm wondering now if the GT Auto wheels gave me an advantage. I'll go back to stock wheels and see later.

And I shan't reveal the next combo, but a hint is this: the car is not as powerful so we're expecting a slightly closer field time wise. The tyres are of a lower grade too so it still won't be a walk in the park to drive fast!
