I haven't looked into the weekly challenges since the update. Are they similar to the time trials and/or daily races in that they change each week or are they the same races in World Circuits that people may or may not already completed?

They change each week at mignight local time on a Thursday morning - we've done an article for each change - and are mainly drawn from existing World Circuit events. We've seen one "Special Event" that's not part of the WC races, created just for the week, so far.

So what you're basically saying is "read the article"

Also, can we change the thread title to "Start Menu Book 48" until tomorrow night - I feel like that would potentially halve the number of posts on here

I would make it permanently say "Start All Bonus Menu Books 40-49" so that we don't have the same merry-go-round when the next weekly challenge picks a race from another bonus menu book. Since you can start a menu book, exit out and start another one, and repeat until everything shows in the event directory.

Kind of crazy PD didn't think about the possibility of people not knowing what on earth "Event is not avaliable" could mean and didn't think "we should probably explain why and how" in the same pop-up.

This is the same PD that wrote "browser incompatible" as the error message when you try to upload a decal bigger than 15kb.

Same here, you have to open book 48 or 49 in the cafe thing.

I've now encountered the "oh no you di'nt" Weekly Challenge reward bug, and it's a bit of a head-scratcher (considering the first three weeks were fine).

Everything displays as normal except you don't get the post-race cooldown notification of completion and no Gift.

Honestly I thought that the 992 was completely unsuited for Laguna Seca last time round, so I'm pretty happy this time it's at a quicker racetrack

At least they included one actual new event again. Seems like making a One-Make race would be the easiest kind of event to create, so why it was omitted from the previous week is a mystery only PD knows the answer to.

Bad? No. But 5/6 star tickets often gift cars worth a mil or more. Last 6 star I got a Toyota Gazoo Gr1 Hybrid worth 3mil. So that one ticket that is worth 4x all the credit awards combined.

I've interpreted it as a 992 one-make series of events which until now is absent from the world circuits, and they are drip feeding them to us through the medium of Weekly Challenges instead of just releasing them in one chunk.

I forgot to check and I'm not arsing about with the console clock again (it wiped my Wk3 progress and now won't complete it again ) but I thought you could rent one for it?
