Yep. Don't have a wheel so am on a controller anyways. So it's just about a well controlled slight drift at the right time.Use the controller. Couldn't turn wheel fast enough.
Right or left doesn't matter because the field is symmetrically constructed.Yep. Don't have a wheel so am on a controller anyways. So it's just about a well controlled slight drift at the right time.
Just to be sure: you have to turn right, right?

Didn't realise this, I did wonder why my lap over a second quicker than someone who got gold keeps only getting me thirdThe Pass in Moby Dick can F off. I finally got gold after reloading a number of times to get different wind speed or AI patterns.
It’s incredibly horrible design to have random elements in fixed challenges like this. I was doing laps faster than people on my leaderboard that had gold and was in 3rd. All the sudden another attempt the AI is half a second slower and I get gold.
Iam stuck on the super license on the f2 carAll. Ashamed. I thought I'd improved more in GTS.
Got stuck in Cafe a few times. Truck at Daytona. Porsche at Nurburgring. Each of those took me a few days, 2-3 tries a day. All bronze though. Have to go back later.
Haven't started S License yet. Not ready for that yet. Ditto on the spicier Missions.
Nothing yet compared to the month it took for CE Gold on Nurburgring in GTS. But it's early.
You mean Laguna Secca?Iam stuck on the super license on the f2 car
Just to add to what @xMAXIx79 said, one place I ended up making a LOT of time was the turn before the uphill to the corkscrew. Brake VERY late, and do NOT turn in early. Turn in late, after the curbing. I also found that test very difficultIam stuck on the super license on the f2 car
Countersteering assistant can help, you should manage the first sector with a lot of speed and a high drift angle with a good 2700 or more points and then reduce your speed significantly in order to take the coming 180 degrees more gently and smoothly. If you score S1 Enough points and glide S2 cleanly that should do the trick.Any tips for drift mission with controller? I'm struggling to get Gold with the BRZ, I want my 2J![]()
The advice that helped me was that someone said the car slow down enough just when you release throttle. Don't brake too much.Iam stuck on the super license on the f2 car
Yes i doYou mean Laguna Secca?
My oppinion, very soft brake most Time, it can go much faster around Corners if you dont try to trail brake to hard.
Every km/h or. mp/h more you can go, you got more Downforce. And dont use Curbes...
Yeahhhh thanks for the tip, just got Gold for 9 pointsCountersteering assistant can help, you should manage the first sector with a lot of speed and a high drift angle with a good 2700 or more points and then reduce your speed significantly in order to take the coming 180 degrees more gently and smoothly. You have to be confident to sent it full throttle in turns 4, 6, and 9.Iam stuck on the super license on the f2 car
Finally got it after 3 more tries. BB at 3 and corner indicators helpedThe Interlagos time is kind of a joke but good god thank god it is because the Zonda was so unpleasant to drive. The thing doesn’t rotate at all.
There are a few wet missions like that. I followed the 'easy' win strategy shown on the thread for the Tsukuba 1 hour mission yesterday, and finished in P2, 1m 38secs behind P1......I got quite close to feeling ashamed when trying to gold the 30 min mission on HSR in the rain.
I had read a couple of posts here about race tactics, watched a couple of vids on YouTube and thought I was good to go.
However, for all my first attempts I got stuck on something like P14, a minute behind the leader, losing time from being too slow or even worse, losing the car 200 m away from the pit entry.
It took me ages to realize that weather is dynamic and that no race is quite like the other and more like your own unique experience.
Things got better the moment I accepted that I can't copy what I read or saw but race "my own race" ...
I had one more attempt finishing on P4 because the rain came back after two dry laps forcing me into an extra pitstop, next try was a win though, even quite satisfying regarding race tactics and with a 50 sec lead at the line.![]()
You are P1 now ? 🤔There are a few wet missions like that. I followed the 'easy' win strategy shown on the thread for the Tsukuba 1 hour mission yesterday, and finished in P2, ... Just about to have another try.
No, P3 and then P5......You are P1 now ? 🤔
I hear you. I more than once thought the AI is absolutely laughable - a joke if it wasn't my time they're wasting. No, P3 and then P5......
AI strategy keeps changing, and P1 runs a 59.9 lap when the rain is at it's heaviest 😕
First race I only pitted twice, leaders pitted 6 times and still beat me! Second race I was lapped by the leader - no way back from that.
You're not the only oneNow that I am doing Circuit Experiences, the full lap at Laguna. Golded all the individual sectors without much trouble. But the full lap is kicking my ass. Best I've done and I'm still .600" off gold.
I really hate that track.
