I would love to see classic formula 1 cars in gt5 especially if you could drive against all the legendary f1 drivers. Also, you could compare modern day f1 cars to ones back in the day.
What classic f1 cars would you like to see?
What legendary f1 drivers would you like to drive against?

i want that >>

Old Lotusses, Tyrells, Ferrari's, Maserati's, Matra's en McLarens voor me.

And ofcourse the Brabham Fan car :sly:

Wishfull thinking however.

1951 BRM v16 ( i bow down in noise appreciation ), 1967 BRM H16 P115, Mario Andretti's JPS Lotus 79, Stirling Moss's 1958 Vanwall, 67 Eagle Westlake T1G, Ferrari 312, Honda RA300, Brabham BT24, Lotus 49, Massa 250F, Coopers too and many many many more.

In before closing. (wishlist)

I've been thinking about this the last few weeks because I would really like to have some old F1 cars. With one example from each decade I'm fine.

Examples:
1966 Ferrari

1976 Ferrari

I find the drivers part very unlikely, but some names that would be nice are:
Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Mika Häkkinen, Michael Schumacher, Nelson Piquet, Mario Andretti or, Ayrton Senna.

i want to have some of the late 1980 turbo monsters 1500bhp in qualifying that would be the ultimate car the best example of racing the days before health and saftey rules when drivers actually risked their lives when racing.

rip ayrton senna

can someone find a good picture i can't find a really good one

So Henry Surtees and Massa's severe injury don't count. I don't know why some think people dying makes motorsport better.

"Grand Prix enthusiasts may be worried by the amount of time it has taken me to get into this Lotus Formula Three. What they don't realize is, although" He "thinks he has a faster car than me, I am faster in my Lotus Formula Three. Hee Hee! "
This thread reminded me of this movie line. Bonus points for whoever can name the movie. I removed the name to add to the difficulty.

What an ironic post. I think you need to think more carefully. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I suggest you read about Ayrton Senna's death and its effects on motorsport.

1 or 2 cars from each era of F1 would be a good start. Then perhaps unique ones like the Tyrrell P34 and championship winners/race winners. After that maybe some fan favourites, e.g. Jordans, Arrows, Super Aguris, Minardis, Ligiers, etc.
The important thing is to at least provide us with some 50s and 60s machines to race around the old-style Nurburgring without the armco. Thats one of the few things I've yet to experience in a game at GT levels of detail.

I'm salivating at the thought of going around the Nurburgring in a 250F, Vanwall or BRM etc when the weather is pouring down with rain or something.

Casino Royale from 1967

a funny parody of the 007 adventures with Peter Sellers, Woody Allen and the beautiful Ursula Andress.

Correct. And of course David Niven as James Bond ( I guess they were all James Bond in that movie at one point). That quote always stuck in my head even though until recently I had only seen it when I was a kid. I didn't quite remember it correctly. In my mind it was: "He thinks he is faster than me. But I am faster than he, in my Lotus formula three. Tee Hee"

aryton senna was just the best ever driver in my opinion if you have a problem with that please quote this and tell me why

Theres not problem with you like Senna. But I think no matter what the car or series is, all the drivers risk there lifes racing.

sorry i put it in the wrong words.

I knew that after the crash great inprovements were made to car and track saftey to stop horific crashes. i just think those cars where great feats of technical echivement like the saturn 5 and aryton senna in my mind was the best driver who managed to tame these beasts of cars. I'm not saying that saftey improvements make the sport worst, in no way do i think that i just think that the cars in those days were just a chassis and a engine no saftey aquiptment and how much balls would you have to have to drive that at full pelt

sorry if i sounded like i meant somthing else

i said it in the wrong way i hope you know what i actually meant about the cars of the 1980s

lets draw a line under this and carry on i admit it was my fault
