You start just before the la-time for your first lap starts. Which means that you will start from the "finish-line" and not from the line where that cars are positioned in the fixed grid prior the race..

The first of the 2 lines that you reach is the starting-line. If the clock for the 1st (2nd if you count the formation-lap) lap is rolling, you are past the starting point.

Everything clear? 👍 :)

Yes, brilliant. You start from the first of first line out of the two.

QUALY FOR SUZUKA NOW FINAL

OUT:
1. Johnkiller2 - GT500 - Can not race.
2. Wardez - GT500 - Illegal car was used during qualy and is therefore DQ'd for this race.

OP is updated. Make sure to read everything carefully. 👍

Do I need to remind you that NO aftermarket tunes can be bought and then removed/downgraded. Because even when the mod is removed, the engine specs are different from stock. And it's quite easy to detect.
So make sure that you run with a legal car!

Wait. If I put a turbo on the car, then remove it, that changes the car somehow? Bloody PD...

/\ Exactly why my car does not even have Racing Softs bought. Notta one mod purchased. Buy it, put B-spec bob in it on the Super GT race and let him rip that series.

I usually change oil after each race or do the last one twice which is 180 miles and full break in. Then I send the car to my kids. Have them back up their account. Then come in accept my car gift. They then spend part of their 15million and repair motor and chassis. Then sent back....reload their game save and as if I was never there. hahaha

In the end car makes peak HP and is perfect racing order.

TWO OUT- Make me in Div 2!!!!!! Yaaaaa slow and steady was my pace. I tried to put together a flying lap all day and found the sand every freaking lap. So come Qualify I hadn't made a clean lap yet. . . so being all nervous I was babying it. Then one spot out of race was like DANG Should of pushed it harder on the second lap. See the events today, while I feel for John, I am pleased to be in via Wardez. Sorry for you man.

Oh, I didn´t know that...Think I also should be DQ:d then,
cause I bought a stage 3 Turbo to my RX-7 to make a test
after a fellow Finn, Simo told me that it improves Your laptimes installing it and then downgrade to normal RX-7
337 hp.

I think I was the FIRST one to post it here in the
thread after I tested it in Kamy´s room earlier in the week.
I did the test just because the Stewards could react to this issue.

Of course I didn´t use it in my Q, but if it someway affects
on the car even if its not used (You can´t remove it from once buyed, tried that for sure),
I´ll take my punishment and take it as a Man.

BTW. I did the rules in the Nordic series so,
that everyone can buy everything, and put the HP to 522.
I don´t have to police and all the cars is equal.:)

I've only done one practice race, the most recent one at Daytona. I'm just curious on how the race is finished?

My guess is that when the 1st GT500 car finishes the race a countdown begins (how long is the timer?), and whoever finishes their last lap before the countdown is up "finishes" the race. All those that don't get to the finishing line in time don't "finish" the race, there place is based on the percentage of the race length they completed. Is this correct?

Right back to topic and important stuff....

Whos going to host tomorrow.

i was surprised yesturday about my connection it seemed to hold well but it wasnt in race mode with 14 people in....

so i guess chorda has hosted before and most people seemed to be ok.... what about D2...

Timer set out as far as it will go. I can't recall the seconds off hand. 200ish IIRC

Also on hosting. Headed to cable company today to step up my service. Which is plenty fast at 16mb and 3mb want more up for sure. So I will have upgraded services today. Prior was tested with no issues IIRC.

Practice room up if anyone needs it...(tire testing and practice races if needed)

Edit: Closed @ 2:10 EST

If Owens doesnt host i might be able to for D2...(don't know if my numbers are good enough)

I've hosted a few practice rooms over the past couple of weeks with no problems, but none of them full yet. All I would need to do is set up the room 1 hr before start time, right? I think Nycrom could run the organizing since he is a steward.

Edit: Owens, let me know when you get back. I'll just be a backup in case you cant host.

It's fine for me. 👍

Looks like Team UK really is in need of 1-2 drivers for tonights
Race in Nordic Championship. No one here willing to serve
Your King & Country?:)

We don't have a King any more, we have a Queen. She's apparently immortal because she's still going around waving at people even though she's a hundred and eleventeen years old.

FAQ I will be on a bit. Are you running wired or wireless on the PS3?

LOL At the Queens age. How old is she really?

It's agreat achivement to keep the cars equal when you only use YELLOWHAT, XANAVI and CALSONIC.. Well done eppe00! 👍

That's the test on my laptop which is wireless. My PS3 is hooked directly to my router so i would assume better speeds. Is the internet connection test on the PS3 menu the only way to test your speed on the PS3?

You run as host and i'll just be a backup if needed.

Only reason for asking is the PS3 is a wireless G device. Thinking the G is capped at 12mb. Down. So in that I myself am gonna run a hard wire. Which then is uncapped from modem.

Be a few before I am on. Upgraded service and waiting for it to take hold

ok ran the same connection test on my PS3, it came back with...

16MB download
3.6MB upload
ping 27 ms

Not great but not bad...the problem around here is that once it hits 5pm(race time here), everyone is getting home from work and the internet speeds start to drop. If i run the same test in the middle of the day, i get different numbers. The upgraded service around here is supposed to get 54MB per sec, so it should be interesting to see what you'll have now.

If You think of it a little closer there´s something behind
that rule also...

If we say the Finns should put a stage 3 Turbo in their
Calsonics, and just downgrade the hp:s to 522, the car
is 0.5-1 sec faster on Suzuka than a Calsonic without it...

So there would be a great advantage if The Swedes wouldn´t do the same. THATS WHY we allow it:)

Understand Denilson, or I can take it on swedish also...

BTW: where were You tonight when Youre King & Queen
needed You? Maybe afraid of the Finns putting in 1´51.3 times? You are really a funny Guy Dennis!
Its great to have You here now, putting stuff together, when Masi is away.👍

Can I put you up in the OP as host?

Things to know when hosting:
1. Make sure that you got the grid spots (on a piece of paper?)close at hand to answer any (always someone who is not paying attention) questions regarding grid spots, also make sure you got all drivers that are on the waitinglist close at hand as well.

2. Room must be up atleast 1 hour before racestart (Connect time).

3. 30 minutes before race start, if someone is missing, you need to make sure that your grid is full by posting in this thread that the driver listed 1st on the waitinglist can enter. If the "original" driver shows up in the room after you have posted that a waitnglist driver can enter, you have no option but to kick that driver. He know that he will be excluded (if he read the OP) if he is not in the room atleast 30 minutes before race start.

4. Make sure to save the replay

Any questions?

Nycrom will also be in that room, so he can help you organizing.

Yes, I was afraid for the finns doing 51.3's..

Why didn´t You inform that You´re not showing up, when You got Your name on the List? We waited for You
Or why didn´t You put Your Mom driving instead? Maybe
some Guy from Your Country could have taken Your spot...

well, it was not meant to be. I found out from the wife that I have to pick up the baby tomorrow afternoon, so i cant get on until about 30 mins before start time...so I'm probably not the best host for tomorrow. Sorry Denilson.

Owens should be able to host and worst case I can be the back up in case he cant do it. I'm intested to see how his upgrade goes anyways.

Ok, no problem. Hope that OwensRacing can host.. And if not, we have 12 other drivers who could..

Owens: Let me know if you can host and if you understand all details that comes along with hosting. It's not that hard, really..

Anyone else?

RamoSapiens i would like to open this thread and do not read you talking about Nordic Championship, neither you arguing with Denilson. If you have a problem with him please send him a PM.

Im sure others feel the same way.

Thanks.

Ok guys, I need your opinion.
As for now, the same class reces will not have any qualy. The grid will just be top 16 from the table.

However, I think that we should change the rules regarding this, and run qualy for the same class races as well. But instead of standard 2 qualy laps, every driver will only get 1 shot at La Sarthe and Nurburgring 24h. Part, because the pure lenght of the laps, and part, cause of the time needed. On the other same class races, we use the standard 2 qualy laps.

Is this a "yay" or "ney"?

"Same Class: GT500 and GT300 cars will battle their own kind. There will be only one room per class.
There will be no qualifying. Only the top 16 from the points standings has first priority to race. If for
some reasons a driver can't make the race, someone further down the list will be allowed to participate."
