Looks like the Lexus cars are strong here. Same as pre season.

If D-Max enters a room, he's in. I've just not updated the OP yet.

@ D-Max: When entering an official WSGTC room, you need to have "WSGTC" as your auto message. In that case, the host will recognize you! 👍
If you don't use "WSGTC" as your auto message you might be kicked out since the host most likeley don't know that you're an official driver from now. I'll update the OP with your name as soon as I get confirmation from you. I did just now send you a PM.

My god... This looks dangerously close to D2 for me... With OwensRacing, Paginas and Wardez still to quali, I'm really working up a sweat right now. :scared:

Just out of curiosity I swear, but if one lap is declared dirty, can we use the lap time from the second-quickest lap rather than receive a penalty? I think my lap 2 was clean but it was very close, have to go check the replay after Pagi finally plucks up the courage to put in a lap, god...

(My lap 2 was 0.6 quicker than lap 1, but because I knew my Lap 1 was good enough for pole, I pushed harder on Lap 2 and ended up quite wide on the exit of Turn 2. Looked like I had two wheels on the line when I was driving but needs to be checked)

Procedure

A group of drivers per class will be given 2 laps to set a qualifying lap.
Rules regarding qualy-procedure:

If a driver runs into ANY trouble during an official qualy-session, the session can under no circumstance restart.
If a driver does not complete the 4th lap, and the replay file is corrupt, he runs the risk of not getting an official time, EVEN if the
lap was watched and verified clean by a spectator. (It's VERY important that you end the 4th lap)
If a driver disconnects during a session, he may reconnect and drive up to that point where he got DC'd. If the DC occurs while on the 1st (2nd lap) qualy-lap, he may restart and this time ONLY his 2nd (3rd lap) qualy-lap will be valid. The lap where the driver got DC'd counts as "dirty" with no registered lap-time.
If the car that DC's has any form of damage, but still are able to reconnect and restart his session, that drivers must damage his own car to the same grade of damage that the car had just before he got DC'd.
If a qualy-lap is "dirty", there are 2 possibilities.

a. If a lap-time beyond any doubt was slower due to an "off track/dirty" situation, no penalty is given and the lap-time stays.
b. If a lap-time could have gained any time what so ever due to an "off track/dirty" situation, a penalty of 5 seconds will be added to the lap-time.

From my understanding of this, if you have a "dirty" first qualifying lap (ie 2nd lap) then your second qualifying lap (ie 3rd lap) goes into effect? if both laps are dirty then a penalty is imposed.

Correct. :)

I've checked the replay mole, sadly both wheels are easily beyond the white line. Still, your 51.9xx stands. :)

Edit:
- flopped my first lap and hit a wall. :yuck:
- Not many gt300s this week.

yea, 2nd lap counts (if clean) when quicker lap is dirty

i just did a 44.888 on 1st lap and got WAY too excited and messed up my 2nd flying lap lol, think i could of went a few tenths quicker but NO WAY beat nycrom his on FIRE with that lap

It's kinda sad that qualifying in D2 automatically makes us have less points even if we get 1st place. The engine troubles and crashes are sure to make the championship more interesting especially when a slow guy passes or beats a fast guy after a crash or trouble. That would give the slower guys more of a chance points wise. Just my 2c :P

It's simple. You got 2 laps to set your quali time. The fastest one counts. In other words, if you run 44.9 during your 1st flying lap but recieve a 5 sec penalty due to an off track situation, meking your total time to 49.9. And your 2nd lap that is clean is a 46.4. In this case the 2nd lap counts as the fastest one.

Argh yep just checked it. I think there was some lag on my lap so I thought that might be why you guys thought it was very wide - I knew it was close, but I kept pushing for the lap because I thought it was 50/50, but it's just wide - my right rear is maybe half an inch over the line, and it only went over because the bloody rear end stepped out on me when on the power! Friggin car! :P

Anyway yeah, moar GT300s please, where are you all? :(

Chorda aka Denilson. Don't hate me. :(

If make you feel better two laps prior to qualify I was 44.8 and then 44.6 so was like let's get this done. I am on. Pffft typical me takes it east to be clean and lose 1+ seconds.

Room is open. Come get your qualifying done!!!

hahahaha, dont worry, i set my lap INCASE i turn up on friday, its not definite, most likely not, so your just in D1 i believe.

oh and jimmy, im not forcing you or anything, but you so should of chosen the denson sc430, the fields just going to be full of white and green :indiff:

I'll test it out.. if it matches my Petronas then ill swap

what annoyed me about the lap is that it is that i done it after my qualy laps..

well im not sure if your allowed now seeming as you set with the petronas, but you'll have to speak to denilson about that as they are equal. oh and btw, did you use a stock petronas? as i read you had detuned or something but it still gives you more rpm.

and yeah i feel you, hit around 1:44.8xx after i did my quali:tdown:

right guys

well done to all that qualifyed (still few hours left), some great laps out there, shame theres not many gt300s this week....

lets have a good race on friday :sly:
