I did have a 1'58 with the NSX but looking at the replay I attack the chicane before the last corner too hard and went 4 wheels over, the front right is on the white line, I will try again tomorrow as I won't submit it my currrent one as I feel it is dirty.

I also did a few tests to day. I tryed the NISMO Z, NISMO GT-R and the MOTUL AUTECH GT-R.. GT-R´s brand new, and the NISMO Z fully broken in..

Nurburgring GP/F
NISMO Z: 1:56.4XX
MOTUL AUTECH GT-R: 1:57.0XX
NISMO GT-R: 1:56.8XX

Only did a few laps, but I did tune the suspention a bit. So, yes, the Z is quick, but it was also the only car fully broken in. The other 2 cars was brand new with an oilchange.

Tyres: Racing Hard

Laguna Seca was a good race for me, clean drivers and i hope i didn't upset any 500 drivers. I could have done a bit more, probably, but my driving style is to try something when i'm 150% sure. Can't wait for next races. As for quali, i've done this method in a Forza 3 championship and it was very tense and fun. Three laps for warming up, and best of the next two was counted as quali time. Also, i think is better to try this, starting from next week.

Just a question Masi: the Gt500 Stealth models are admitted to the championship? The technical feature are the same to the original Gt500 models just change the colors.

I just ran a quick 3 laps in my Denso Lexus on the hard tyres, I got a 1.54.8 with stock tune except full aero.

I'm going to run it in my GT-R and see how my times compare.

You're a scary fast driver. Although I'm sure you've been told this before.

That's scary quick!! If you can, I'd like to see a replay of you running a lap like that. Maybe I can make my GT300 a bit faster :)

I do like the track to be fair, but thanks 👍

I just ran the the GT-R for 3 laps also and got a 1.53.6

So it turns out - in my hands at least - that the GT-R is over a second per lap faster than the Lexus. :scared:

My Lexus is only partly run-in though so I'd expect the gap to be be more like 0.8 seconds.

Still, it's quite a gulf in performance. I will still be running my Denso though. :D

---

I might be able to get a replay up at some point for those of you who wanted it. 👍

Is it possible to link to a video? I would die to see that lap :)

1:53.XXX is just awsome man!!! 👍👍👍

Holy crap!! replay please!

I was getting 1:53's on RS tyres in the NSX! oh my days! lol

Did I just get kicked out of the room for saying someone shouldn't cut the chicane? I apologise if it came across the wrong way, but it's a hard thing to say without it feeling like an accusation in some form. It was the end of a race, with me not far behind and I felt it took away what could have been an interesting final corner and run to the finish. Again, sorry if I pissed you off, that wasn't the intention.

It's just a practise race, but that doesn't mean the rules go out the window. We should still be trying to race as if it were the real thing, it just doesn't matter as much if we screw up. If it was a screw up, cool.

Not even close dude, chill out. I was the host of the room and had to go.

**FALSE ALARM**

I found I had skid recovery force turned on, :dunce: which explains why its a few seconds ahead of everyone. I will turn it off and see what time I get.

Dude, I was pulling out my gun before I saw that!!

OK. You seemed pissed, and then I got DC'd. It was weird. I wanted to come here and make sure that I hadn't pissed you off, what with us racing together and all. It's a friendly championship, the last thing I want is to piss off the people I should be having a good time with.

HAHA!! Well, I guess you're much faster than the rest of us anyway.. But maybee just by 2 seconds instead of 3... Does not make you a that much less of an ailien :)

Agreed. No worries.

You sure you didnt have it on last week also? Your lap was alien fast :D

Hi! Played with some of you tonight and had fun! Consider me interested in these events.

Had a nice duel with a yellow-hat gtr for first place the last race until I messed up majorly in the schumacher-S - so if you're out there reading this, good race 👍

I think we need some clear guidelines on how to avoid comitting infractions.
For example, it is stated that causing unnecessary crashes will be penalized. That is perfectly fine, but people should know HOW to avoid unneccessary crashes particularly when re-entering the circuit after they have gone outside it for any reason.

The speed of the re-entering car into the race line will most likely be inferior to that of approaching cars and could unwittingly cause an "unnecessary crash".
It should be a rule that to re-enter the circuit you must be sure it is clear or otherwise let the faster cars pass you safely.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't, my free run pace before the race was fast also in the lobby, sadly I didn't convert that into race pace.

---

I am running high 1.55's at the moment without god mode, so not quite as fast as before, but it felt quite good. I can conceivably see a 1.55.5 in the GTR, which should hopefully put my Lexus's qualifying time somewhere around the low to mid 1.56's.

Ok that's much better xD. I can see how to get a 1.55 something, but lack the finger skills to put a lap together. I'm curious to know what you can get out of a NSX though, although you don't seem to be into those. heh.

On the contrary, I love the NSX, both the road and the race car. I just felt it might be an idea to try some other cars out :dopey:

I ran my Raybrig NSX (not run in) I only did a few laps and got a 1.56.1. If I ran it to the extent I ran the GT-R, I would be a few tenths faster I expect, fully run in like my GT-R, it could conceivably run 3-4 tenths quick IMO.

It's wonderful to drive. :D

Lol at God mode :D

Ill be hosting practice tomorrow at about 10.00 pm GMT.

Btw, seems like only one has submitted so far in qualy. Whats the hold up? Shall we commence live qualifying?

Alrighty then...
