...and the Rolling Start Procedure
The start of the race will be somewhere right after the first chicane at Mulsane Straight - It depends on the Pole Driver - this will be on Lap 1!
- First, you must remember your Grid Spot (Super Lap Qualifying)
- Hold your positions when countdown reaches zero
- Pole sitter will make his way upfront!
- Cars must roll in a maintained pace of 55 mph / 90 kmh
- Sort your positions based on the Super Lap Results
- Field will roll double file (form two lines)
- Odd numbers will start on the inside lane relative to turn 1
- Even numbers will stay on the outside lane (Opposite side)
- The Pole sitter will decide the Green Flag before the Finish line
- You must maintain a minimum of One car length between you and the car in-front (same lane)
- One car length is minimum, meaning it's up to you how large the gap will be
- You must always maintain visual contact with the car beside you
- You're bumper must not go pass the rear bumper of the car beside you
- You must wait for the car beside you to move forward before you floor it!
- No passing before the start finish line! Penalties will be strictly enforced for false starts, illegal passing, and overall aggressive driving!

Real Life Example of a Rolling Start:
==================================================================
Race notification from the Stewards
To promote clean driving penalties will be given at this race
We havn't put the penalty system in concrete yet. we will use this race as learning so we will have a good system when the real championship starts. Penalties will generate time added to race time. How much and for what is not solidified yet, but we are looking to only penalize the bigger incidents, not small things.
The goal with the penalty system is to promote clean driving. It also has to be:
- Easy to understand
- Predictable in outcome
- Easy to manage by the Stewards
If you want to submit an incident for review:
- Send a PM to the stewards directly after the race with a description of the incident including your description, which lap and driver
- The stewards will send a PM to other driver and ask for his version
- If the driver in potential error admits, the penalty will be smaller
- If posting an incident on the forum, no penalty will be given
- Decision given by the stewards will be final and will not be debated
- You find the Stewards on one of the first posts
In case of collision between cars.
- The collision has to generate a clear impact on the race result to warrant a penalty, ie car damage or pushing car off track.
- We will hold the overtaking car highly responsible for clean overtaking
- At least 9 out of 10 times the car from behind will get the penalty
- The size of the penalty will depend on impact on race result
- As an example, if you hit a car and as a consequence it has to pit, the penalty will be at least 35 sec (time lost for pitstop)
Change side of track to defend
- A car in front has the right to change side of track once in defence to a car coming from behind
- This change has to take place well before the car behind aiming to overtake
- To change direction just as the overtaking car is breaking the slipstream to overtake is prohibited and will generate a penalty
Shortcutting the track:
- Only repetitve shortcutting in aim to reduce laptimes will warrant a penalty
- No penalties will be given for occational mistakes or when the driver obviously didn't gain any time by going outside of the track (see def on first page)

IMPORTANT!!
If a spot opens up, and a driver from the waitinglist enters. Everybody behind the driver who did not show will move up the grid. And the new driver will start in last place.
If I do not get information about a late connection from someone atleast 15 minutes before race start. I'll post here in this thread so that the next driver on the waitinglist can get redy for race. If a spot opens up for any reason, I'll post here in this thread ateleast 10 minutes before racestart. I will NOT be held responible if someone loses his spot in the race because of a late connection that has not come to my knowledge. If you know that you might connect late. LET ME KNOW! The guys on the waitinglist needs a few minutes to get ready.
NOTE: It would be great if everybody wrote down the starting positions on a paper to keep next to you, easy to reach. So be awere of if a driver do not show who keeps a grid spot further up than yours. Make sure you move up the grid since the driver from the waitinglist is taking the last spot. Make sure to write down all drivers on the waitinglist as well. Help me, help you 👍
It will also be interesting to see which drivers that have put "WSGTC" as their auto-message. This is also a good method to help the host. 👍
See you soon on the track. 👍
Good luck to all drivers!
Because giving information thru the chat sucks!
