COTA is great news. Not so happy about lack of Japanese tracks and those huge puddles on tracks just ruin it. Get rid of them! Very interested to see how the new league MP feature is going to work. Was wavering over a pre order but screw it I'm all in with the Ultimate Edition!

Indy cars return, MP4-12C and Gallardo Blancpain racers too (for those that didn't think the placeholder images leaked earlier in the thread weren't proof enough ;) ):

(EDIT) And Bentley GT3.

(EDIT 2) And Audi R15.

Is the cockpit view editable? If not that new FOV is going to be a nightmare for wheel users.

More MP League info

Online Leagues

This week, we’re showing off competitive multiplayer Leagues for the first time at Gamescom. If you love online racing, this new Leagues feature was built for you. Leagues are a brand new multiplayer feature for Forza 6, one that lets players compete in thrilling multiplayer races that are scheduled and based around each player’s skill level and temperament.

The cornerstones of Leagues are its scheduled race lobbies. All League lobbies run on a schedule and will be open in the game during specific times each day. For example, there might be a B-Class League lobby that will be open for four hours per day for a full week; after which, it will be replaced with a new League lobby featuring different cars and/or tracks. While a League’s daily open window may vary from League to League, we are designing these windows to be open to allow the most players within different time zones.

During an open window, players can join a League Lobby and compete against one another in that lobby’s playlist. After each race, players will earn points based on their performance (what position they placed in, as well as the number of higher-skilled players they beat). As long as a League window is open, players can continue to play in that lobby and earn points; these points will accumulate on that League’s leaderboard for the duration of the League. Once a scheduled League has closed down, players will earn credits based on their final position on the League’s overall leaderboard.

Our goal with League racing is to have players always have multiplayer matches that are geared to their skill. To do that, we are organizing players into different skill-based Driver Divisions. All players will begin at the lowest division when they first start playing in Leagues and more skilled players will quickly move up into their appropriate divisions. Each time a player races, we recalculate his or her skill level by comparing how that player finishes among the other players in a race. The more races you win or place highly in, the better the chance you’ll move up to a new League division. Once a League begins, players will remain in that league until the League has completed. When the new set of Leagues is set, each player’s Driver Division will be reviewed and players will potentially be reclassified based on their current skill level. In addition to skill level, League players will be organized by their temperament levels, which will ensure that clean drivers will be paired with other clean drivers, while players who tend to enjoy more contact will be racing with similar style opponents.

Driver Division will also control which League events players have access to. A newer, less skilled driver won’t be able to see or have access to the same League events available to elite-skill players. This allows us to create race events that fit for different players, tailoring the cars and tracks to the most appropriate skill levels.

For Forza Motorsport 6, Online Leagues represent a fantastic opportunity for players to get the best multiplayer racing experience on a consistent basis. In addition to a regular cadence of updated Race Leagues, we’ll also be creating special events that will give players of all skill levels the chance to compete. Whether it’s with one-off series tied to real-world race weekends or invite-only events featuring the best racers in the world, Online Leagues promises to be an incredibly exciting, and always changing, new feature in the game.

That's it folks I am done waiting! All my defenses got destroyed with FM6 .

I decided I am ordering a Thrustmaster TX in July. I will build a rig for my BMW seat in August so that I am ready for September! I won't be able to buy the rig/shifter/pedals, but I can add these later on, since I will prepare the rig to be very adjustable!

I haven't decided completely on what version of Xbox I will buy, but I have decided that I am getting the Ultimate edition of FM6!
Once August comes I'll know all the Xbox offers and choose wisely the cheaper option available....
There are going to be some very very delicate moves with my credit card .

WOW! After we didn't drop the Euro I had my eyes set back on my goal and was checking almost daily the prices. As usual I checked today without too much hope and than bang it hit me!!! I found a sweet sweet deal in the best price possible and ordered my Xbox One!!! After like 2 years of waiting it's time to play hehehe!!

:dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce:

Since I am set on my mind for Ultimate edition and never had an Xbox what are my next steps? Do I need to make an xbox account and preorder (do I need an xbox to do that)? When you preorder do you pay in advance or only when the product is delivered?

Indy cars return, MP4-12C and Gallardo Blancpain racers too (for those that didn't think the placeholder images leaked earlier in the thread weren't proof enough ;) ):

(EDIT 2) And Audi R15.

I wonder if we'll get other 2015 Indycars other than Sato and Newgarden. I look forward to see which of the other Chevrolets and Hondas are confirmed.

COTA has me seriously giddy with excited! I may have to bring my Xbox with me down to Austin so I can do virtual laps after watching the Tudor & WEC Championships. :D

Been there for all the F1 races, Grand-AM, ALMS, WEC and Tudor races. Will be nice to actually drive it, a bit expensive to do the real thing plus my hotrod isn't in shape for that kind of abuse right now

I'll be able to drive it for real at this years LoneStar Lemans!

Okay, I'm just going to say "screw it" and pre-order the normal game, because I still haven't noticed the deluxe or ultimate editions being available to pre-order on gamestop.

Why not just go digital?
Exactly.
I prefer having a hard copy handy.
I have always been the same exact way.....until this year. I started to go digital with more and more games and I absolutely love it. Plus I install them to my external hd so if anything goes wrong with the X1, my games are already backed up. :)

I will still buy some games on disc but overall, I am converting more and more to digital. Especially all the backward compatible games.

I'm interested to know as well. I purchased VIP passes to the Lone Star.
It's through the Audi tickets, you get access to the turn 15 tent with gourmet food, and 3 seating options and a parade lap of the track in your car! @BoneSawTX

Me too, but the lack of the Ultimate and the early access is enough for me to be content with my physical collection looking incomplete. :D

I've honestly also had a paronoia about identity theft when it comes to using my credit card online, which has often prevented me from buying things so much online. Of course, it's probably just as possible to get my identity stolen at a store than it is online; so that makes my excuse a bit moot.

oh screw it, I really want the season pass and VIP pack; I also have an external HDD myself. So, I guess I could backup my games on that if something goes wrong.

This isn't the playstation network. Your info is pretty dang safe with MS. Sorry, low blow but we can all laugh. I hope..

I buy the digital versions directly from the MS store.

I've had my card compromised three times. Each time, it was at a physical store location or an ATM. I've never had an issue with online, and I do a substantial amount of my shopping there.

If you've got the external, it's pretty safe I'd say. 👍

Alright then, thanks; I guess I no longer have any excuses to buy it online now. :)
