No. Last anyone knew, the Xbone still uses the same input system as the 360; and it's possible that the current 360 wheels might not even work.

Actually it is a different input system 360 was RF new one is to be Wifi Direct so it looks like no existing controller device will work with it without modification or adapter if that is even possible.

You're missing the point, unsurprisingly. If you want to compare iRacing and FM5 on equal terms with regards to financial outlay - as in, someone who has neither, and is looking at buying the things necessary to enjoy one or the other - iRacing still comes out on top. Sure, you already have your gaming PC set up; but then, someone who buys the XBone for any other game could then argue that they already have their system.

There is really no such thing as "equal terms" since everyone is in a different situation. Even if there was, the only people who would be interested in it are fanboys and marketers. What everyone should be concerned with is how much it is going to cost them and what value they are going to get in return. That valuation is going to be extremely variable between people. Both cost and value are problems for me and needing a new wheel wouldn't help. I bought the xbox360 mostly for kinect which turned out to be useless. I played Forza4 and Horizon mostly by controller until I recently bought a CSR wheel. Besides the price, I'm kind of ticked that I may need to buy another wheel when I just recently bought one.

Value is another issue. I never really thought that highly of Forza4. The AI is better than GT but not by enough and the single player career is just as bad. At least GT had license tests and special events. There are several other games coming out in the next little while that I am either as interested in or more interested in than Forza including GT6, project cars, assetto corsa, and rFactor2(which is technically out). All those together would cost me less than a quarter of what Forza5 alone would cost. My views may change as we learn more about the xbox and forza but as of right now, it's not looking good for the xbox or forza.

Hmm so it looks like they really are going to stick with the name Xbox "One". :yuck:
Was hoping they would drop the One at E3 but I guess its not happening. It will just stick as the worst console name in history. Worse than the Wii.

Except there really isn't now, with Horizon being spun off to deal with the more arcade side of the market 👍
 
Why oh why did they have to announce Forza 5 as a launch title, right when I want to spend my hard-earned on a new car... :sly:

Already insanely keen for it. Just give me an ABC'S multi-class lobby that doesn't crash every 4-5 races and I'll be happy as a pig in you-know-what.

Agreed. I've always loved seeing cars in the position dashing though a corner, haha. Very epic. The P1 looks really good. 👍
 
Looks great but I want to hear more about the track selection. F4 had plenty of events but because of the track count, got boring after some time.

Hoping this time around, lots more tracks with dawn/day/dusk/night/weather cycles.

So you guys haven't got a problem with the Xbox One? I like FM5 but I don't like the new console at all, it's a money-grabbing box. Sorry T10, it's a real shame that you have to work for such a greedy company like Microsoft, I like your games but I won't put up with Microsoft's BS this time.

Why would anyone want to? I couldn't imagion holding my hands out in mid air pretending to drive.

How would you do the throttle and brake? Make motor, shift and tire noises with your mouth ;)

May as well close your eyes and pretend you are playing a game

I'm guessing kids who just want to play a car game and couldn't care less about simulation would want to.

Ps i cant wait for FM5, knowing Turn10 rarely dissapoints i have full faith in them trouncing GT off the throne once and for all. I just hope we will have open wheeled cars and Porsche being in, other than that no worries. Weather and nightracing should be in...so i've heard..

Photoshop Magic bullet looks and adjusted the Levels a bit. notting special no effects added just color correction and highlighted the mids a but more.

Edit: i also posted the original wich is very bland imo.
 
A bit to exposed IMO. If you tone down those headlights, left quarter panel, and sun burst while keeping the edited lighting on everything else, and giving it a little less exaggerated coloring I think it would look quite nice
