Reminds me of Sling Shot a little bit from Hot Wheels World Race

One must not forget its cameo in AcceleRacers, now. Little hit of nostalgia, right there! :sly:

It does, and I believe that the Sling Shot was supposed to be mid-engined like that, as well. Been a while since I've looked at mine, so I can't be sure.

Anyway, back on topic now! :)👍

Jetway_707_advert.jpg

During the late 1960s (1968–70), the only Oldsmobile professionally made into a limousine was the Toronado, known as the AQC Jetway 707. The 707 rode on six wheels. Between 52 and 150 were believed to have been built.

Something that looked like it came out of an early 90s sci-fi anime was bound to have a mess of an interior...

Or not.

The whole car is essentially a re-bodied Countach with an almost unchanged interior, apart from the curved instrument surround.

MC3 was one of my most favorite games ever. I hope they'll make a new one now that they finished GTAV.
MCII was a superior game :sly:

*Initializing flame resistant defense mechanisms.

That Lambo Sogna looks like a Countach designed by a serial killer.

You know nothing about car games then :P
MCII was the best game in the universe. That game was perfect :D

MCIII in comparison was a DUB fest and a much easier game. MCII was a far superior game in both difficulty and sheer glory. I had both at the same time and played MCII more.

I enjoyed playing 3 a lot more than all of the other ones. The car list was great (real cars, unlike 1 and 2), customization was good for that time, cruising around the cities was extremely fun, etc. I spent a lot of time role-playing with friends on split screen in that game in any other game I've ever played. I broke two MC3 discs from playing too much (bought a total of 3). I also finished MC3 about 3 times (second was because my game data corrupted).

I've learned about this vehicle's existence from another thread on here:
Chevrolet+Capita_depan.jpg

The Chevrolet Captiva, which is an Euro Chevrolet SUV and I already don't like it. It just doesn't strike me as something I would buy.

Isn't it called the Captiva? We have that in Indonesia as well.

I don't know about what it's called in Europe, though.

Doesn't look like a very appealing SUV to me, either. The proportion's not bad, but it just lacks that feel of forcefulness on the thing as a whole. It looks too tame for an SUV.

And when they decide to make the face look more aggressive, it becomes too much of a snorty pig:

Well, I learned about yet another Ford today sold in Asia, parts of Africa, & parts of South America called the "Laser". It also clears up the mystery for me of why the North American Ford Escorts were so different than the Euro Escorts.

Anyway, this specific variant of the Laser caught my eye from the WYR thread; it's a 1985 Ford Laser TX3 Turbo.

The look reminds me of the Honda CR-X sold around this time. Anyway, what's cool is that I've learned that these came in AWD and had 140hp. It sounds like a quick, little hatchback.

Those are also known as Mazda Familias/Mazda 323s right? Even hotter versions of those. :dopey:

I agree, it needs to be cleaned up. There isn't enough there for it to be that messy. Wouldn't take much effort to clean it up though.
