You must follow the car specs and regulations pictured below! Not following specs will result in an immediate disqualification.

Your car must be fully broken in before each race. Not following this rule will result in an immediate disqualification.

You are NOT ALLOWED to go in the settings page between feature & sprint race.


While inside the race lobby, do not use the 'chat' feature while stewards are sending out instructions for pre-race checks. If you have questions, go ask them now! Otherwise, read the op. We will be using a special pre-race qualifying that is listed below - read it! Thank you for your patience!

qualification rules for Indy Road will be usual. You have 2 laps to submit your superlap.



Tyre Regulations

  • All qualifying will be run using Racing Hard tyre's
  • In every race ALL cars will can use of 1 set of Racing Medium tyre's. This also applies to the sprint races.
  • The use of the Racing Medium tyre's is optional.
  • During each sprint race, there will be a "Pit Window". This is where all cars must pit.
  • The Pit Window for each sprint race will announced in the race specific thread (here) in the week prior to the race.
  • If you damage your car and wish to pit, you may, however you can still only use 1 set of Racing Medium tyre's per race. you will also still have to pit in the window.
  • Failure to pit during the window in the sprint race or using more than 1 set of Racing Medium tyre's will result in an immediate disqualification.

important note:


  • The only real iffy spot is turn 11, the concrete patch on the inside of that corner is not track, keep two wheels on the track or black/white rumble strip at all times going through or your lap will be invalidated.
    Turn 12: Make sure to stay inside the solid white line. DO NOT go outside it with more than 2 wheels.
  • Always maintain at least two tires on the rumble strips going through the chicane. Two wheels on the grass is ok, never more.
  • Green Flag: Polecar will decide where the start is (somewhere before the startline). He must make sure that ALL cars are clear of the last turn before starting.
    It's totally up to the pole car, as long as ALL cars behind him are on the straight. He can not start the race if the last car is still in the middle of the last turn. Pole car has right side of track for first right turn.
  • Make sure to stay on track at ALL times with at least 2 wheels touching white line / Red / White curb. You can not use run offs or tarmac of any kind to gain speed. You will be penalized heavily during the race and disqualified for having a dirty lap in qualifying.
    Just stay inside the rumble strips and course white lines.

    Pit lane.
  • Entry: Just be careful and do not cross the white lines.
  • Exit: Nothing special about the exit. Just make sure to stay right when you enter the track until you are 100% sure that you will not cause an accident.
    General: When entering and exiting pits, the white lines are ment to be respected. Yes, you can cross the white line when entering and exiting the pits. But if an incident occur, the driver who crossed the white line (The one on track, or the one who comes out from the pits) will be held responsible, and a penalty will come as a result.

the PURE Racing Evolution Group


"4 C's" process approach to resolving incidents - Contact, Check, Convene, and Convey.

Contact - we will contact all drivers involved. People will be told against PM'ing us, instead they will only need to fill out the report (which will be a Google docs sheet) then they'll need to wait for us to contact them.
Check - we will then follow up by checking available evidence, like replays, photos, stories, and comparing them for consistency.
Convene - it will be a rule that in order to complete the process we must get together with at least one more official to get their opinion and confirmation on findings or proposed action, we will not contact any drivers involved at this point.
Convey - we will contact the drivers involved and officiate the results or penalties and send the package to series heads for posting/archiving.​

Ballast Rules


The top 4 points scorers from each round in each division will receive a Ballast Penalty
The Ballast Penalty will be handed out on provisional results
Time penalties and DQ's will be added afterwards
If drivers tie for points, the driver which placed highest in the main race will receive the higher ballast amount
The maximum ballast per car will be 140kg
Ballast will be removed 20kg at a time for finishes outside the top 4 point scorers
Both classes will have the same penalty

1st - 40kg
2nd - 30kg
3rd - 20kg
4th - 10kg

Class and conference switch


Everyone may switch conference or class 1 time this season, meaning if you do, you're stuck there for the whole season.
Car switching is an absolute no, under any and all circumstances. (obviously with a class change, car must be switched, and depending on the field, you may be forced to change cars if you switch conference, but will not be allowed to unless that car is taken.
Anyone that decides to switch a class/conference during the season, will have to forfeit every point they have acquired throughout the season at the point of change.

The "1 time change limit" is effective immediately for:

Osr20_L - GT500 -> GT300 - Car: Lexus IS 350
Litchi - GT300 -> GT500 - Car: Nissan XANAVI GTR '08

just found the thread lol.

looking forward to this track, not my favourite but I won a pre season race here lol however I didn't have 40kg of ballast so my tyres might not hold out like I want them too. Time will tell
 
Well on the bright side of things, I have 20 kgs less this round so my tires will last more than 5-6 laps. lol so I'm going to have to do some extra practice to gain a couple points back. And to be honest, I need a win, but unfortunately the competition is brutal. Bortech, Monstar, maxking and Trajikone are gonna make it tough.

Oh man, that's right. PLC too. Well after some practicing after work, i got it down to 1.30:0. I can smell the 29's.
 
We were doing 29s in pre season race. But I don't I will hit that with 70kg. Could be a draft race.

Was glad to see Plc didn't get disconnected. As long as he stays in the race you'll have to watch out. Its the first 3 that you really have to worry. Make some mistakes I'll be on you. I haven't run any laps yet so I'll be on tonight if anyone wants to qualify. Pst

just to give the gt300 guys a goal post. I've been doing low 1:35s with a best of 1:35.1 with 40kgs of ballast.

I'm sure the top guys will get into the mid 34s
 
Did some practice with iforce. Yet to put together a lap with all the sectors good, but did manage a 1'34.0 wiht 20kg ballast. I think we'll see 1'33 in practice, but aiming for a mid 1'34 in qual unless I find some better setup.
 
After finally finishing going through last weeks replay, massive thanks to Simon and Dan for the help, I can now run my 1st lap at Indy.
 
Same maxking. I was .2 of a second faster than my 1'30.0 lap then the horrible top end made me lose like .2-.3. just on the last speedway sector. Absolutely no top end. Arghhhh. I'm around 165-166 MPH at the start/finish line
 
Hey guys, I am going to have to pull out of this week's race - I am pre-season kart testing at the weekend and they want me there on the Friday as well, so I will not be by a PS3 I'm afraid!

I think I will also miss next race too because of more or less the same reason, except replace 'pre-season testing' with 'Round 1' haha :D - I will let you know.
