haha great, I'm not the leader though so I won't be able to accept you. It's good that we have GTP BF3 players all in one group, but nobody ever organises any big team games, a shame considering how many players there are in there..

I have to disagree about that. The corners are so tight it's really hard to find pace. Daytona is much more of an NSX track. Here the infield is just too twisty to make up for on the straight.

Really confusing sentence, I apologise. I haven't eaten anything.

I'm actually worried I might fall asleep on the wheel tonight in the race. Started a new job with really early mornings and live in gmt+2 so start time is already pretty late. By the time the race is finished, I'm pushing 19 hours of no sleep.

Make sure you have full aero in a NSX. That should really help in the infield!

Tried several aero settings but for some weird reason the balance is better with quite low aero so that's what I'm going for. Laptimes came down also. Keep a close eye on me in your mirrors on the straight, nudging 300km/h at the end of it. :cool:
 
This isn't an NSX or GTR track. It's a multi-car track, and they should all be within 3-4 tenths, at the most.

Feature Race
36 laps + 1 Formation lap
Normal Qualifying grid placements


Sprint Race
11 laps + 1 Formation lap
Reservse grid from Feature Race
Pit Window is from laps 6,7 and 8.All cars must pit within this window unless you have damage

I shall be setting up the GT300 room very shortly i shall post room number in a few minutes
 
GT-R's have to go low on aero to stand a chance Vs the NSX. My car is a dog but I think I can stay in the slip if ones infront

It's supposed to be exactly mid-sprint IIRC.
Which would be counted laps 6,7,8 - Race laps 5,6,7.

Might be what you mean already, just trying to clear up which lap counter you mean.
I just got twisted's PM, so yes, these are perfect.(counted laps 6,7,8) 👍
 
So who's hosting PAL GT500? Best we get a room up now in case Litchi does not show up.

If anyone not racing (NTSC) is around, I'm gonna run some practice laps soon, in NTSC 1 lounge.
 
Sorry guys.. just walked in the door from Volleyball, and didn't know I was to host today. Room is all set up though. Jump on in.
 
I don't think its wise with an American guy hosting. Might lag really bad or give people DC's?

So what is happening about the results of the reports for GT500?
A bit late posting them when the new round has started....
 
My apologies for the poor hosting today. Last time I hosted, i hooked up my keyboard and knew everything we were supposed to do in advance.

Today, I rushed home from a vball game.. Started up the ps3, threw something in the microwave, and jumped in the shower. When I grabbed my food, I looked to see if there was a room up through the ps3.. I didn't see anything. Talked to my wife for a minute, and still nothing.

Thats when I jumped on the thread and saw that I was the one mentioned to host the room. So I quickly fired up the room while trying to grab something to drink. I had only practiced for 45 minutes this week, and tried to get in a quick warmup, eat some food, drink some fluids, and talk to my wife all at the same time.

Needless to say, I was one step behind the whole time. I apologize greatly for the delays, and especially for effing up the race finish timer. I hope I didn't royally screw anyones late laps battle. Then, when it came to the sprint, I confused the PURE rules with our rules. Unfortunately I got disconnected from our first sprint of this season, and didn't get to see how it was run. Sorry for the poor hosting, but thank you guys for your patience today.👍

Now about my race... FAK and I opened up a little gap on the field in the main race early on. At the beginning of lap 3?, I was on the inside and he was on the outside going into turn 1. He left me plenty of space. On my screen I left plenty of room to the tires on the inside. I had actually thought I had cleared the tires, when all of a sudden the game read it as me hitting the tires. Boom.. And FAK had no where to go as the tires completely grabbed my car. So sorry mate. There was no need for me to have run that low there, but I still was positive I was wide of those stupid tires.. But apparently not.

I am bummed I had bad results today, as I have run many laps here, and it is one of my better tracks. But I am bummed the most about what happened to FAK's race, and my poor hosting today.

I hope you guys forgive me. My apologies,

Edit - I just watched the replay multiple times, and I can't seem to be able to find the moment my car made contact with the tires. I got closer than I meant, but contact.. hmm.
