2011 Brazilian Grand Prix

Finally someone at the BBC flicked a switched and we have now got the HD picture back. Gosh is was awful since the start.

Maldonado just zipped passed Senna.

The damaged wing finally broke off on Senna's car. That might be why Maldonado passed him so easily.

And Maldonado just stuffed it.

Maldonado having a fantastic battle with Senna. Then spins. Race over.

Vettel again gets a reminder about the gearbox. Hell... I think he's going to drive that car to a win or drive it into the ground trying. The boy just won't give up.

Probably had to do that due to the silly cutouts they were having prior to the race starting, if you ever did see those...

Vettel has nothing to lose. Already won the championship and even though we all know he wants to win the race, he doesn't have to.

And Webber to the lead.

Vettel now has to short shift in every gear. Webber must be happy as a clam to be in the lead.

Yes I did, panicked for a second thinking it might be my brand new TV! When the picture came back it was SD and interlaced for about half an hour.

Bit off topic but slightly unfair that Bruno conveniently took the Senna surname when he isn't actually a Senna, oh yeah way to further your career on a name!

Really no way to defend... Vettel has no gearbox left. Button coming in for a pit stop. He needs it... he's dropping a lot of pace to Hamilton.

Button gambling on a hard tire - to - the - flag strategy.

I could tell they'd briefly lowered the commentary quality as well even without HD.

But anyway, if what niky said is mainly correct, then that doesn't bode well for Vettel surviving another 38 laps.

Vettel is definitely off his normal pace. Webber was bound to overtake him eventually. I think that decision was made to avoid any battling for position and ending both their races.

Hamilton overtaking Schumi close to a yellow zone hopefully nothing comes from that.

Will Buxton saying rain is expected in about 6 minutes, and Ferrari say it's expected in 10 minutes. Business is about to pick up.

Rain is on the way...

Rain might be coming before the end... but no fireworks expected on track amongst the leaders for the next few laps... except when Hamilton eventually overtakes Button.

Hamilton on Schumi was okay... Schumi was being shown the blue flags at the same time. No investigation announced so far.

Oh, and now HAMILTON has a gearbox problem.

"Don't worry, nothing you can do about it..."

Yeaaaaah... that works...

Senna's missing fourth? Did they look for it under Schumacher's car?
