2012 Malaysian Grand Prix

Lewis smiling on the podium means that he's aware that he's the highest placed guy in the championship (so far) who has a car that can win the season.

Haha in the press conference in the pilots native language (spanish); i heard perez say he dedicates this race to his dog who just died :)

A win is a win.

I'm happy for Perez, but I unless we get another crazy race like this one, I don't think we'll see him on the podium again, not this year at least.

Well like I said earlier if Button isn't on the podium ahead of him or not even on the podium, he is happy. Vettel probably also qualifies for this too. I think Lewis is happy because he didn't have issues like Vettel and Button. Something that would have been different last year. So far it seems Vettel is the ugly duckling this season. We see it with quali and though Aussie was a good finish, it wasn't past three seasons Vettel good.

All these things equal a happy Hamilton, especially like you said. He probably has the car with everything to lose. McLaren are the fastest and best at the moment.

What did he say?

He is pissed about the car, the fail of team radio, and he called the other "puncture guy" a "Gurke", which means cucumber. He simply wanted to say that the other guy sucks at driving and that it is the other guys's fault.

Oh Vettel.

Unlucky for Perez. I'd say that's a driver getting a little bit over excited over the prospect of winning a Grand Prix. His pit messages didn't help though. 2nd is great for Sauber though.

I would be, too, if I hit Karthikeyan, considering that Vettel was his second victim.

I agree with most that Karth wasn't technically "at fault" for those incidents, however I still believe he should have given up his position to both Button and Vettel much easier, he shouldn't be fighting with two world champions, it's not his place. He finished where he belongs, at the bottom, he knew that's where he would finish, but he ended up contributing to a ruined race for two people who actually are in points contention.

Cucumber? lol

That's what i call, a hectic race.
I'm sure i wouldn't bet Alonso winning this season but look at him now.

A very, very amazing drive for Perez. It's clearly that Sauber is faster than Ferrari. More tyre conservative too.
I've no doubt Ferrari will take Perez on the half season later on.

Not bad for Hamilton. 3rd place once more. Too bad for Button he shouldn't have misjudge that HRT and no i don't blame HRT, they're racing eventhough they're effing slow.

The same for Schumi, Grosjean. Oh why. Not bad for Raikonen either and Vettel, the strategy goes awry because of the weather but all hail the weather! :D

Blame the backmarkers for every incident they're involved in and absolve everyone else of blame, then everyone's happy right?
