2012 Malaysian Grand Prix

Summary of the race. Poor McLaren decision making, rain didn't help.
Alonso quiet until the real racing begins.
Smart Sauber very well done to the team and Sergio Perez.
Williams fantastic, unfortunate Maldonado but brilliant Senna.
Ice-Ice baby....
Hard luck on Karthikeyin, these "bigger drivers" running into him and causing their own distruction will surely make it hard for him to race if he qualifies outside of thee 107%.

Eventful race :)

In my racing days, I knew to only fight for positions that I was capable of hanging onto. I was never a champion, never in contention for the championship. If I ended up in front of one of the "fast guys" I maintained my pace, and did not fight them whatsoever. That is what Karth did, and that's why I lay partial blame on him for both incidents. When you belong in 20th, and are "gifted" a better position halfway through the race, you don't fight the guys who belong ahead of you.

I mean the radio didn't work before that happened, during that it obviously worked.

I didn't know they fixed it, I thought it was still toast. Thanks anyways

seems there's at least 1 Mexican in the world that can drive

 You don't know how funny that is considering I live on the border and see first hand how they disobey traffic laws on purpose.

Sergio should be something to look up to, and I'm sure the mexican american news outlets will be talking about Sergio for the next couple of days.

Peter Sauber why are you cheering? You took as dive you cheating bastards.

Please take your conspiracy theories with you and close the door on your way out.

the fail of team radio,

To be fair, his team radio has failed several times in recent memory.

Actually, in the replay, it really looked like Karthikayan drove into him, hm.

That's what I saw. Will need to watch it again to form an opinion.

If Vettel is blaming Narain for something he did, then he's as bad as Massa when things go wrong.

Or your precious Hamilton.

McLaren facebook page posting that the race begins in under an hour.

They're just working on photoshopping the podium right now... Silly McLaren, Axletramp could do it faster.

Was a good race. Was cheering for Sergio, but it was not to be.

Great job from Alonso, how was he able to drive that bus to victory is beyond me. Awesome drive from Perez, it's a shame he made that mistake. He would probably get Alonso otherwise.

Having reviewed, analysed the replays and listened to JB's interview. I would like to extend my apologies to Alex P and Tired Tyres and anyone else that I annoyed.

You cannot possibly blame Karthikeyan for Vettels puncture?

When one guy becomes the center of so many seemingly innocent accidents, one has to wonder, no?

One can't help but wonder...

EDIT: And would SOMEBODY PLEASE PUT A BLOODY SPONSOR'S LOGO ON THE SAUBER!!! It's obviously a good car, it's such a shame it doesn't have a proper livery.

i think its pretty obvious how important 2nd place is for sauber.

No. Jenson admits he ran into Karthikeyan, and when Vettel ran into him, Karthikeyan was driving in a straight line.

"Ha ha. My cunning plan to cleverly drive in a straight line so that the other guys drive into me and ruin their own races is coming to fruition. The money I receive from Ferrari for this will come in good use"

Something like that?

I think sponsors would get in the way of the aerodynamics.

I mean, look at Brawn last year. Did so well when they were new, and as they picked up sponsors, slowly fell back.

Is the evidence compelling enough???

To all of you blaming Karthikeyan for Vettel's puncture, think back to Spa last year, when Hamilton thought he had the overtake done on Kobayashi and drifted into the normal racing line then they collided. Who were you guys blaming then? Certainly not Kobayashi.

Now this time A- Button just smacked into him, no brainer whos fault that was. B- Vettel thought the overtake was done, drifted back in and took out Karthikeyan's implate. These backmarkers are slow but no doubt they cant drive on the grass or brake to 2mph 'cause Vettel/Any top driver said so'.
