I won't post the video as it'll only work for UK users, but the BBC team were doing a side-by-side of the Merc vs McLaren. The real reason why the McLaren is awful, Button's new 'tache...

During P3, we saw two men in the Manor garage reading huge (really) pages of documentation, trying to start their own cars...

This should probably stop now.

Anyway, my picks for the race are a Hamilton-Rosberg 1-2 for Mercedes, followed by Massa, Raikkonen, Ricciardo, Bottas (if he races), Asuka, Grosjean, Verstappen, Nasr, and Hulkenberg.

Magnussen will retire after 15 laps, Button after 22.

Vettlel, Massa, Ricciardo. Because:

Hamilton bogs the start and late race tyre deg

Turn 1 mayhem

Glitch in Rosberg's power unit.

Sainz Medium holds up the field.

Somehow, Maldonado cuts Button's tyre.

Kimi has pit stop dramas

He particularly reminds me of his dad when he's referred to only as "Carlos Sainz" during coverage, which would probably prove quite confusing to a rally fan awaking from a 20 year coma with no context.

Brilliant Quali by Hamilton and Mercedes, so impressive!

Fantastic debut Quali from Sainz and solid job by Verstappen too, good to see Lotus back in the top ten..

Felipe Nasr sounds too similar to Felipe Massa....also Sauber really needs to gets some sponsors on that car as it looks terrible...looks more like a GP3 car..

I reckon the Sauber doesn't look too bad, atleast it has a Title Sponser, the Mclaren on the other hand really looks poor.

Well, there's that, but I still have the 1992 and 1993 Rally Australia on VHS somewhere - just a dodgy tape recording from the television, not an official production or anything like that - but Jnr. is clearly his father's son. He's tge spitting image of Snr.

Apparently he prefers to be called "Carlito" instead of "Carlos".

Finding some pictures of a young Sainz Sr., I'd say Sainz Jr. has a slightly narrower face and seems to need a shave much of the time.

Otherwise they do look very similar, yes.

Got to admit I find the Sainz name in a non rallying environment a little odd to my year, even though I've heard of Jnr for a couple years now.
