Has Newman found his neck in 2011??

Edit: I just noticed Harvick gained 5 spots during that last pit stop..... Hahvick to da 5 confirmed guys

Wait.... LEBRON went back to the Cavs?! But he betrayed everyone and went to Miami!

Unless you're looking at the future...

I know this won't be popular, but I think the commentating crew needs to ease up on, and that's the Kulwicki thing. Tony may have a stake in the team, but Alan was all but the pit crew.

I have a lot of best moments to pick from Tony's career... But this is always going to be one of the best, this is the best I have ever seen someone drive a racecar. He looked like Earnhardt, Schumacher, Vettel. It was his that night.

The problem with Walmart is they cover such a broad area they could pretty much put a blanket ban on retail stores in general from sponsoring a Cup team if they wanted to be dicks about it.

Looking at current sponsors these are the cars that could have sponsors that in some way compete with Walmart.

#1 - Sherwin Williams, Bass Pro Shops
#3 - Bass Pro Shops
#5 - Great Clips (I doubt they would have issue with this, but I wouldn't be surprised either)
#11 - Sport Clips
#14 - Bass Pro Shops (No clue if they will sponsor this team at all in '17)
#19 - Sport Clips
#24 - NAPA
#27 - Menard's
#42 - Target (although they're probably leaving anyways)
#48 - Lowe's
#47 - Kroger
#78 - Bass Pro Shops

Can't really see how some of these compete with Wal-Mart. Krogers and Menard's I understand (not even counting Target for obvious reasons), but I don't see how the others are direct competitors. I seriously doubt you'll convince me Wal-Marts gives you just as good or a better haircut then Sports Clips or Great Clips for a great price

Would you rather them remove Indy entirely? Because that's the only other option that is really available.

Yes actually. Unless its IRP, it shouldn't be there and NO change is going to improve racing on a track that isn't made for Stock cars, period (same goes for Cup). I'd rather them give it the hell up completely.

I for one am excited to see what a restrictor plate would do on a flat 2.5 mile oval. At least they are trying to make it more entertaining, and they can't get rid of it, purely for its sheer legacy. Its like removing Monaco from F1.

The only Legacy Indy has is the 500. Not some 2nd tier series race, The Indy 500.

Also, it is in NO way like "removing Monaco From F1" because unlike The Monaco Grand Prix, Xfinity racing at Indy doesn't have the history or ANY Legacy.

Like I said: it doesn't matter what NASCAR does, its not fixing nor bringing the crowds back and the attendance from the last few years at the 500 compared to both Nascar car races say it all.

I would feel safe saying more people attend the Freedom 100 than the Brickyard 400

With finishes like this, I can understand why. And look at that, Actual racing and passing.
