2017 Formula 1 Gran Premio de Espana PirelliFormula 1

Ricciardo doesn't know how to park.

Also... THE SCHOEYS ARE COMING. :D
I Just saw that :lol.

He's been crap all weekend though. This had Verstappen's name on it and he knows it. I'm salty.

Speaking about Maldonado, Verstappen has about as much business to be in in Formula 1.

That was completely ridiculous.

Edit: I take it back, looks like Kimi drove into him. >.<
It was actually Bottas who hit Kimi, that pushed Kimi into Verstappen. Race incident. Move on

I thoroughly enjoyed that race!

Even though Lewis had pole, I was fearing a Vettel victory again.

I still feel Ferrari has a slight edge over Mercedes though. Mercedes just outdid them on strategy today. Well that and some great driving from Lewis, was a sure factor of the win.

Very unlucky race for Vettel. That post-VSC pit stop was the killer.

You're right. It was unlucky for him.

Had the VCS not happened, I'd still be interested to see how it would've panned out. Mercedes still had a pretty decent strategy by that stage. Probably would have been a lot closer at the end though, for both of them.

Yup. Arguably Kimi shouldn't have allowed himself into the middle of the three car wedge but that's racing. Bottas had track position as they entered the corner, that's just how it goes :)

Kimi's "bwwaaahhh" seemed several seconds long in the post-crash interview that Sky showed. Not sure what that actually means in human terms.

That advice is against GTP's AUP - you should avoid advising other users to steal content. Smiley face.

When is nbcsn showing the replay of the race? I forgot to DVR the live broadcast.
They are not. The only re-air I can find is this Wed. on regional CSN Mid-Atlantic, Chicago, and bay area. Univision has a re-air scheduled for 4am ET 5/15 if you have that, but its in Spanish.

NBC Extra w/login maybe? Or "other" sources that are available.;)

What I'm really curious about was whether a one stop strategy for Mercedes was ever in the cards. It might've been for Bottas -and him blocking Vettel also helped Hamilton down the road - but now we'll never know. The mediums looked awful out there so I doubt it ever was.

Without the VCS, I'd say Hamilton closes the gap but making the pass happen would've been quite difficult.
Congrats to NBC for being absolutely clueless as usual and making sure to show commercials during the decisive pass for the lead.
Quintessential motorsports coverage in America.

I still have no idea how the lead changed. What happened exactly?
In a nutshell: VSC situation, HAM pitted on the right time and then BOT slowed down so VET lost a lot of time. Then VET had to pit and changed to mediums and HAM was on softs. Couple of blue flags for the slower cars and VET lost in total about 8 seconds. DRS and HAM flew by on his better soft tires.

Thanks. I was watching on the NBC App and it went to the "Your program will resume shortly" screen, so I skipped ahead and saw Hamilton in the lead and a VSC happening. Went to manual skip back and it forced commercials on me, got pissed and just kept going on. After that point the race was basically over, Vettel wasn't gonna catch up. Ball dropped, NBC...
