It looks like a few teams added cars for this weekend. The more the merrier.Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia in the 75 Camaro for Lime Rock
Fixed.
@GTP: No sadly I'm not.. Are you?
01GTPYes I am.
It's a bittersweet weekend for sure.
I haven't missed any Grand Am/ ALMS races here since 2007.
Mac KTurner is selling his cars for 450K a piece, making room for something new for next year apparently.

If so, you and I have finally formed that racing team we were talking about. I've always loved those Turner BMWs. BMW and Mazda were the two manufacturers I wanted to see winning the most. It's going to be sad to not have them sneaking their way into the winner's circle anymore.
While they won't be run by Turner, you do realize that BMW is still going to be in the series? The Z4s have shown they can compete with the other cars so they still are capable of getting into victory lane.
But, I'm referring to the M3s. I'm going to miss the M3s. I don't like the Z4s.
I don't like the look of them, I think they look goofy. I wouldn't want to be seen in one, so I think it's uncool.
RACECARImplying you can afford one?
Seriously though, I think Turner might run the Aston Martins. One of his drivers already has connections to them (which helped put Bill Auberlen in one of the GTE cars at Le Mans if I recall) and Aston are already looking to do a campaign in North America so I think he's going with them.
That's my second guess because Paul Dalla Lana runs an AM in the wec if I'm not mistaken. I think Audi is the more attractive car choice due to the more development in the car.
RACECARBut if he's going GTLM (which I'm not sure but it could be possible), then I think Dalla Lana's Connections could come handy for that.
Let's take a guess what Turner will be racing next season. I'm saying Audi
Wow, a stop & go to the Aston Martin for "Avoidable contact". So now going off track and coming back on and getting hooked in the side counts as "avoidable contact"? Complete rubbish . By the way, the final Rolex Sports Car Series race is on.
Isn't it on fox sports 2 ? Or is it anywhere else ?
Its on Fox Sports 2
RACECARI'd thought the other guys would be watching it (being the last race and all), but I'm guessing they aren't aware its live today (not tomarrow on Fox Sports 1, which is a HD re-Air).
