I think GT4 had a huge part in the Nürburgring hype puzzle, i bet without GT4, we wouldnt see so many tourists driving there anymore etc.

I still havent found what im looking for... some vids or pics from the PS3 booth.

EVERY car there has this sticker, Gran Turismo is one of the main sponsorings, it was the same last year too.

I was at the Ring this past weekend watching the 24h and i looked everywhere for a Gran Turismo boot to try the ring in a gt5 type of way... didn't find anything and then i got drunk.. But there where indeed Gran Turismo adverts everywhere !!

the lightning is just plain wrong. It's clearly visible comparing the two first pics in the earlier post.

There is also the same 'thing' in another point in the vid:

You need to practice your reading guys, he dint say its gran turismo, rather A simulator, as its not real, the in car movements do not co-relate to what's happening on track.

It appears to me that its a video relay from a real lap and its being viewed from inside an R8, quite why though, I have no idea.

After you misread my post, you just thought to insult me. Nice. Go read those damn posts again I said that's it VERY CLEAR that it's not a real video from a real situation. It's some kind of simulation, looks like a 'game' of some sort.

They clearly are not from a real situation. So what does that then mean? A simulation / a game.... often means quite the same. But it's not a real vid for sure (as if a real car @ real track) Can I say it more clearly? End of dicussion.

Ehhh it is real, its not a simulator, its called video editing.
They put a moving image of the Nordschleife into the Audi cockpit because they couldnt get a proper onboard or something like this. Its not a simulator, its not GT and its real, edited footage.

Yes, but a simulator is the "tool" you use to simulate something, like a driving simulator simulates driving and this is not footage of a simulator, NO driving simulator would have such a graphic. They just put 2 different videos together.

Looks like a real track to me, as Ace said, real track footage, real Audi R8 interior filmed seperately then edited together to give the impression the Audi R8 is driving it. The end result is something that doesn't look right.
