Hey Guys, I just registered for next Febs 24hr event. I'd like to take part in the training on Friday evening. What do I need to do please?

It is 22:30GMT on FRIDAY evening not Saturday mate.

That reminds me all:

In a little over a week we will be changing to Daylight Saving here in Aus.

Most states will be switching and this will affect the series a little, if changes need to be made to times I will let you know but we will be 10.5 GMT in a week and 2 days as opposed to the current +9.5GMT.

Any questions post them here but I do encourage you to hit up time conversion websites first

A quick comment for those interested in the 24 hour endurance race linked to this series. The HP limit is set at 400 HP for that event. Don't get used too much to 405 HP!!

I've been watching this thread for a while, and I'm preparing for the race too. I've got a few questions.


With the 2.08 update, and tyre wear change. Will it still be on RM? Or have wurks thought of using RS like last year?

Do people practice in the wurks lobby or is it for racing only?

Iwon't make many, if any practice races, unfortunately. I'm trying to make the 4 hour race, but not sure if I can make that either. I have to see what happens. In the meantime I'm practicing whenever I can, and try to get on when Hp is on.

It is not possible to restrict to 400, it is either 394hp or 404hp as the slider in the regulation screen only goes up or down in increments of ten.

I'm fine with the 7 laps race. But, Friday evening, tomorrow, is the season finale of another series, and I have the points lead... I'm not about to lose the championship in the last round, without contesting it. Sure, it'd be great if second place won, but, I won't give it to him without a fight.

Practice race begins in 9 hours (8hrs 55 min to be exact) and there will be qualifying of 1 out lap, 1 in lap and then you will park in the run off area to the left of the "esses".

Anyone wanting in that does not have the 4hr PSN ID needs to let me know ASAP.

Yes, it's slower but I find it more fun to drive and that's the main reason for me. .

Not sure if you've closed the list of eligible cars yet, but the newly released DLC Honda Weider HSV-010 is worth considering.

I downtuned it to 404bhp and found it to be able to run laptimes of the Ring within a couple of seconds of my GTR-R35 TC straight out of the box. What is lacks in 4WD grip it makes up for in being lighter, bang on the 1100kg limit. Fun to drive too with a fantastic engine sound.

Yes, I tested it yesterday too and found it to be excellent, thing is it lacks the Gran Turismo logo... I shall discuss with the Wurks guys, I may allow it for this event from next week but that would not carry over to the 24hr race I don't think, stay tuned on that.

Sorry all, started experiencing lag, my car was just pausing on track for 1/2 seconds then jumping 100m down track, then boom PS3 shut itself down. Might be the end of my PS3 days as If it can't be fixed by me for free there won't be another for a while
