Disastrous second race. Damn M1 either gets a brilliant start off the line, a la 9th to 3rd, or spins out completely ramming the wall next to it and losing a wheel. So my second race at Zolder resulted in a DNF lol

Dominating the GT3 Euro Championship...I want a Aston or BMW team contract though dang it! However, the Mclaren is a great all round car. 👍 Getting excited for potentially being in GT3 at Le Mans! :D

That moment when the BMW completely drowns out the sound of your own car...and then you see dat ***

I'm not 100% positive because I haven't gotten there personally, but from what I've heard the Endurance series does include all of the classes you listed.
Yup i could choice to go LMP2 but i went GT4 instead.... GT4s are lovely and so fun to race! :)

Just won the Clio Cup in my 2nd season...some great races in that. Brands Hatch was mixed at the end...got a 2nd and 6th.

Does anyone know the details of that McLaren 3 hour event? I have it next..

I won the Clio championship last night and promptly moved to the G40 junior. I'm liking it so far. The Clios I could man handle but the G40 requires a little more of a gentle hand, slightly. At Oulton I was on pole and after a mental lapse ended up 20th ha ha. In the second race, I had a small hiccup and fell back to the middle of the pack but eventually worked my way back to first. I've read a lot of people complaining about the AI, but I've been really impressed and the ability to adjust it is great.

Really? I'm currently about to go into GT4 (Currently dominating the GT5 championship, final round) and from what I've been testing in Quick Race Weekend, I've been having a lot of problems with understeer, oversteer, and everysteer. What cars/setups do you recommend?

I might stay in the Clios for 3 seasons to try and get the defending champion accolade.

Just run at dubai, a pole in q1, second in q2. Won race 1, 2nd in race 2. Issues with ai not getting slower on worn out tires as much as human does.

I choose the aston martin vantage v8; luckily the base tune is amazingly good!

Damn... I don't have much luck since getting into GT4 (Driving an Aston Martin).

Started of great as I won the sprint race at Dubai. Then ran out of fuel in the main race while battling for podium.

2nd location was Sakitto. Sprint race I was p2 in qualy, take the lead at the start, then spin out in the middle of lap one and an opponent hits into me, I'm disqualified for hitting an opponent haha, what the hell, I spinned out and he was right behind me so he smacked into me, how was I DQ-ed come on...

Then the main race, I start P9, get to P6 after lap 1, till lap 5 (out of 18) all infront stop for pits, which was superb since they'd get stuck in traffic behind, I get together some nice laps, go to pit in lap 11, only for my mechanics to have problems with my tyre again, which added 10-15 seconds to my pit stop, incredible. I fell to P8. If they didn't mess up I'd be top 3 for sure.

I think we need a 'Stupid things you've done on Project CARS' thread to sum-up my last 2 career races. In the first I was leading the race in my Radical at Sonoma when I got to the final corner which I nailed only to see a long line of cars appearing in front of me, I'd drove around the wrong corner :banghead:. The next race I had a brilliant idea for the start, I noticed that the countdown clock was already going down (timed race) so I figured it would be a fantastic getaway if I went when it had got down to the race distance. The only problem with that was that the race doesn't go green until about 2 seconds after and I was so focused on the timer I didn't look at the lights. I shot off the grid into instant-disqualification :banghead:.

Still won the championship though !

Just finished S6 in LMP2 and just signed for Audi in LMP1 for season 7, roll on zero to hero :)

Tbh I've ran session length 1% with AI at 0and not qualified for any race lol, I just want to go through as fast as I can to get the SP trophies over and done with.

I didn't plan on doing any SP but have only done so as I'm dissaponted with MP.

Once I've done that I may go to touring cars/GT3 and do it properly.

Whats the rush in getting the trophy? Id rather earn it doing seasons properly..

Because I had no interest in doing the SP, I didn't buy it for that I bought it MP.

Karts/Super Karts/G40 are terrible in career and doing those 'properly' for me would be a complete chore.

Considering there are loads of bugs too, na thanks.

Yeah i agree about skipping the karts...i didnt buy the game to drive them really. I take it in MP you are racing in proper leagues,as whenever i go on i just get taken out by some idiot on the first corner. Id rather do offline racing..

Question on career tier invitations: Does team matter? Meaning, if I finish P4 in a series and get an invitation to move up is the team looking to hire me worse than if I were to do another season, win the championship, and get offers from different teams? I think the answer is no, but just curious. Thanks!

Im thinking the same but i will notch the AI up..

Yep, I did Donington and won by 10s on each with 90% AI, I think I'll try 100 for Snetterton and might lower the laps, which should give me less time to recover any incidents. The Clio's are great fun to drive, but it's pretty difficult to have big/race ending accidents in them.

Twisty section of Snetterton and the never ending final right hander should prove more of a challenge.

Ive found Snetterton the easiest out of the 5 UK tracks...the downhill section at Donington and that 2nd wet race at Oulton Park are the challenges for me.

Get your braking done nice and early for the Old Hairpin (the right hander at the bottom of the hill) at Donington, you should be doing 80 through there. The first corner is awkward there, I could never get a proper job of that finished and probably kept me out of a low 1'17.

Agree 1st corner Redgate at Donington is a tough corner , stay out wide until you see the whites of the eyes of the guys in the pub and then turn in remembering it's a double apex corner , then down through Craner curves trying not to unsettle the car by lifting and braking nice and straight for the old hairpin .

I skipped it in my first season. I drove the F1 in free practice mode, and I am no where near good enough to drive that monster. Spin out, spin out, and more spin out. That and I don't really like Zolder.

I'll wait till they nerf the rain AI performance, then continue with it. Till then it's MP only.

Yea the rain performance for the AI definitely needs to be nerfed. M1 procar race at Zolder (I think)...rained halfway through, and the AI was faster on slicks than I was on wets.

I accidentally started a kart invitational...I nearly through my controller into my tv. I had my brother finish the last round for me, as he started his career in karts (insane, I know). What's funny though, he immediately screamed "holy **** the controls are so much better here!!!" He's playing his on XboxOne and I'm on PS4 lol

Oulton was ok for me once I got the hang of it, Donington was a challenge, but boy Brands Hatch was terrible. I couldn't string together a clean lap if I had a gun to my head. There was one section I could never hit, just can't remember which one.

Lots of peeps getting great enjoyment out of this title. Good to see . I wonder if SMS have read any of this. Must make there hard work seem worthwhile.
