Just for reference, the word "Mazda" doesn't belong (although chances are it'll be a Mazda if it comes to GT7).I figured out the identity of M2_1001_92 & I have to say, I like it:View attachment 1194565
The 1992 Mazda M2 1001, an NA MX-5 given the Gran Turismo treatment by Mazda themselves! Only 300 were made, so I expect it to be in the Legends dealership (on the cheaper side, it's still a Miata).
From what I can see, it may still be branded as a Mazda, but more like the Autozam AZ-1, or the efini RX-7.Just for reference, the word "Mazda" doesn't belong (although chances are it'll be a Mazda if it comes to GT7).
M2 Incorporated cars were branded as M2, not Mazda. And you should see some of the crazy stuff it came up with - the M2 1010 is a favourite of mine
XJ220 with a TWR whang, GNX with a wrangler livery, and an S14 with ducktail spoiler are on my menuThat list is getting real. I can smell those 2002s, R31 and that RS500.

That's a special version of the Eunos Roadster:
Interesting list still, sad to see stuff like the 190E Mercs, the Sierraand NSX GT500 isn't in there anymore I'm also still missing some Gr.A cars (E30 and R32) and a V8 Supercar
I don't know whether you're talking about the game or real life now. If it's the game, I already covered that:From what I can see, it may still be branded as a Mazda, but more like the Autozam AZ-1, or the efini RX-7.
If it's real life, nope. All three examples given - M2 (production models), AutoZam, efini - carried unique, non-Mazda branding and didn't have the word Mazda anywhere on the exterior.(although chances are it'll be a Mazda if it comes to GT7)
That’s what I was sort of trying to get at. You’re right in that they were all original brands, but in GT, the likes of Autozam, Eunos, and efini were branded as Mazdas.I don't know whether you're talking about the game or real life now. If it's the game, I already covered that:

This is the efini logo, as applied to mainly RX-7s, but also the 626, 929 and a unique model called the MS-8:

This is the AutoZam logo, as applied to the AZ-1, AZ-3 (MX-3), AZ-Offroad, AZ-Wagon, Carol, Scrum, and Clef.

There was an M2 logo, but it never appeared on its production cars (concepts retained Mazda badging). All were debadged except for a plain "M2 10XX" badge, like this:

Mazda also had other unique standalone brands. Eunos you'll likely already know, but chances are you won't have heard of Amati - which was a luxury-ish marque scrapped at the eleventh hour.
Oh Yeah, would like to see the Eunos Cosmo in the game in the future! I think it was the first car with a three-rotor engine, or is still even the only production car with it.I don't know whether you're talking about the game or real life now. If it's the game, I already covered that:

It was.I take it the latest Porsche VGT wasn’t on this list? Or was it?
The Suzuki was leaked. So could be an indication how quickly cars can be added.
We won't know till the update comes out when it comes to that Silvia, but it's shaping up to be a Q's, or an earlier K's model, not a 96' K's Aero. So, if it is VW iDR and round Silvia S14 in the silhouette, 2/3 cars were not in the datamine. Either we just didn't receive an update to that list, or PD can actually add cars not from the list (which we kinda expected anyway, but last months the updates were following the list precisely).
Yeah, and I don't really consider the original datamined list from the first post in this thread as a source, since later most of the cars there were marked only as leftover names from previous games with no GT7-specific data associated with it. Updated list already didn't have any Slivias. But, like you said, it definitely doesn't look like K's Aero model either way.We won't know till the update comes out when it comes to that Silvia, but it's shaping up to be a Q's, or an earlier K's model, not a 96' K's Aero.
There goes hope of the Silhouette engine. Weird that what I've seen is not like the others. Oh well.
I think even I could do a better job than PD.Funny how one person with a few breadcrumb leaks is more effective than Sony/PD's entire marketing department.
Imagine if PD had some manner of community manager who can just come out and say "hey we're working on X, Y, Z as a priority, stay tuned" every now and then.
Instead, we just have silence.
It has to be the Holy Trinity of classic race cars from the series not yet in GT7.Has to be the Toyota GTone Ts020 and the Nissan R390 GT1!!
